Ghana's Telecommunications/Communications Services Regulator

The National Communications Authority, (NCA) was established by an Act of Parliament, Act 524 in December 1996. This Act has now been repealed and replaced by the National Communications Authority Act 769 of 2008. The NCA is the central body with the mandate to license and regulate electronic communications activities and services in the country; and to provide for related purposes. In effect, the Authority regulates all commerce and initiatives in the communications space in the country regardless of the technology employed

NCA Staff Participate in Fire Evacuation Drill at NCA Tower

The National Communications Authority (NCA), in collaboration with the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), conducted a fire evacuation simulation exercise on 20th October 2026 at the NCA Tower to assess the emergency preparedness and response of staff and tenants of the facility.
