Vinesh Phogat has alleged bias and unfair treatment following her defeat in the Asian Games selection trial semifinal. Speaking exclusively, Vinesh claimed that the contest was not conducted fairly and raised questions over the circumstances surrounding her loss. Despite the setback, the wrestler said she remains determined to return stronger and continue competing at the highest level.

Abhishek Banerjee has alleged that the protest and attack he faced during his visit to Sonarpur were sponsored by the BJP government. Police said the arrests followed a sustained intelligence-based investigation and that the module was allegedly operating under instructions from handlers linked to Pakistan's intelligence agency and the Mumbai underworld.
