Ambassador Louis-Martin Aumais was delighted to sit down with Jordan's Minister of Government Communications, Dr. Mohammad Al Momani. They discussed the power of media and communication, how to bring Canada and Jordan to higher levels of partnership, and to open exciting new chapters of cooperation for the future.

During a visit to Al-Andalus Secondary School for Girls in Marka district, Ambassador Aumais saw firsthand the impact of Canada’s strong partnership with the Ministry of Education and Queen Rania Teacher Academy (QRTA) in strengthening teaching and leadership skills in Jordan’s public schools.

Through the Canada-funded “Developing Jordan’s Public Schools Educators” – TATWEER project (CAD $17.5 million, 2024 to 2029), educators are developing the skills needed to lead classrooms and schools more effectively - improving learning experiences and outcomes for students. Engaging with teachers, principals, and students offered powerful insights into how the training programs are making a difference.

The close collaboration between Canada, Queen Rania Teacher Academy, and the Ministry of Education is driving tangible results—supporting educators today and shaping a stronger future for Jordan’s learners.

خلال زيارة قام بها السفير أوميه إلى مدرسة الأندلس الثانوية للبنات في لواء ماركا، اطلع عن كثب على أثر الشراكة الكندية القوية مع وزارة التربية والتعليم وأكاديمية الملكة رانيا لتدريب المعلمين في تعزيز مهارات التدريس والقيادة في المدارس الحكومية الأردنية.

من خلال مشروع "تطوير التربويين في المدارس الحكومية في الأردن" – تطوير- (بقيمة 17.5 مليون دولار كندي، للفترة من 2024 إلى 2029)، الممول من كندا، يكتسب المعلمون المهارات اللازمة لإدارة الصفوف الدراسية والمدارس بكفاءة أكبر، مما يُحسّن تجارب التعلّم ونتائج الطلاب. وقد أتاح التفاعل مع المعلمين والمديرين والطلاب فهمًا عميقًا لكيفية إحداث برامج التدريب فرقًا ملموسًا.

يُسهم التعاون الوثيق بين كندا، أكاديمية الملكة رانيا لتدريب المعلمين ووزارة التربية والتعليم في تحقيق نتائج ملموسة، حيث يدعم المعلمين اليوم ويرسم مستقبلًا أفضل لطلاب الأردن.

Investing in Jordan’s future - At Princess Iman Bint Al Hussein Secondary School for Girls in Mafraq Governorate, Ambassador Louis-Martin Aumais saw how Canada’s partnership with the Ministry of Education, UNESCO and the private sector is bringing change to life: students building real skills for real jobs through piloted work-based learning and upgraded workshops.

Through the Canada-funded Transforming TVET in Jordan project and Canada’s (CAD $120 million) Sovereign Loan in support of modernizing Vocational Education, this partnership is helping equip youth for employment and future opportunities.

الاستثمار في مستقبل الأردن - في مدرسة الأميرة إيمان بنت الحسين الثانوية للبنات بمحافظة المفرق، اطلع سعادة سفير كندا، لوي-مارتن أوميه، على كيفية مساهمة شراكة كندا مع وزارة التربية والتعليم، واليونسكو، والقطاع الخاص في إحداث تغيير ملموس: حيث يكتسب الطلاب مهارات حقيقية لوظائف حقيقية من خلال برامج تعليمية عملية تجريبية وورش عمل مُطوّرة.

بفضل مشروع "المساعدة الفنية لتحويل التعليم والتدريب المهني والتقني في الأردن" المُموّل من كندا، والقرض السيادي الكندي (120 مليون دولار كندي) لدعم تحديث التعليم المهني، تُساعد هذه الشراكة في تأهيل الشباب لسوق العمل وفرص المستقبل.
