Representatives from local councils, public authorities, educators, and environmental stakeholders discussed Nature-based Solutions (NbS), community engagement, and participatory approaches for more resilient urban environments.
LocAll4Flood also took part in Earth Day activities through an awareness session at Trelleborg Sealing Solutions Malta, focusing on sustainable water use and flood resilience. Participants learned about water consumption, leak detection, home water audits, rainwater harvesting and other practical water-saving measures to better utilise rainwater.
Educational outreach also continued through school visits and dissemination sessions at Għajn, where flash flood awareness materials and exhibitions were shared with students and visitors to encourage preparedness and climate resilience.
