In line with the continuing efforts to promote disaster preparedness and environmental awareness, the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) – General Nakar District Jail encourages everyone to practice simple yet effective measures to mitigate the impacts of El Niño.

Through information dissemination and awareness campaigns, the public is reminded to conserve water, protect food sources, maintain proper hygiene, avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat, and support community-based preparedness initiatives.
Let us work together to promote responsible water consumption, environmental protection, and community resilience. Every small action contributes to a safer, healthier, and more prepared community. 💙💚

𝐈𝐍𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐃𝐑𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐃𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐃𝐑𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐈𝐍 𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐍𝐀𝐂𝐎𝐂𝐎𝐖 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

Under the leadership of JCINSP HARRY C. BALLON, Jail Warden of General Nakar District Jail (GNDJ), the Quezon Province Parole and Probation Office No. 3, headed by OIC/PPO Cisco Oliver M. Mercado, conducted an information drive on Parole, Probation, and Executive Clemency on October 28, 2026, at 10:00 AM. The activity aimed to provide Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) with essential knowledge about programs that support rehabilitation and reintegration into the community.

The activity also included Management Screening and Evaluation Committee deliberations, highlighting the importance of proper evaluation and established processes in matters concerning eligible individuals.

As part of their support for NACOCOW 2026, the Quezon Province Parole and Probation Office No. 3 also distributed essential hygiene supplies to the PDL of GNDJ, consisting of laundry detergent, shampoo, toothpaste, and bath soap, with a total value of ₱8,000.00. This generous initiative reflects their commitment to promoting the welfare, dignity, and personal hygiene of PDL.

General Nakar District Jail extends its sincere gratitude to OIC/PPO Cisco Oliver M. Mercado and the personnel of the Quezon Province Parole and Probation Office No. 3 for their meaningful contribution and continued partnership in promoting humane correctional services.

Through collaborative efforts, we strengthen our shared commitment to rehabilitation, compassion, and the belief that every individual deserves an opportunity for positive change and a better future.

Ang National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) ay isang Whole-of-Nation Approach ng pamahalaan na naglalayong wakasan ang armadong tunggalian sa pamamagitan ng kapayapaan, kaunlaran, at maayos na paghahatid ng serbisyo sa komunidad.

Sa pamamagitan ng mga programang pangkabuhayan, edukasyon, serbisyong pangkalusugan, at reintegration assistance tulad ng E-CLIP, patuloy na pinalalakas ang suporta ng pamahalaan upang mabigyan ng mas maayos na oportunidad ang bawat Pilipino at mapanatili ang kapayapaan sa bawat pamayanan.

Ang General Nakar District Jail ay kaisa sa pagsusulong ng kaalaman, pagkakaisa, at pangmatagalang kapayapaan tungo sa isang mas ligtas at maunlad na bansa.

🎉 MATAGUMPAY NA PAGBUBUKAS NG NACOCOW FESTIVAL 2026!

Sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni Jail Chief Inspector HARRY C BALLON, District Jail Warden, at sa pangunguna ni SJO4 Ariel I. BALADAD, matagumpay na isinagawa ang Grand Parade, Lighting of the Torch, Dance Festival, Pageant, at awarding ceremony na nagbigay-diin sa talento, pagkakaisa, at pagbabago ng ating mga kapatid na PDL.

Ang aktibidad na ito ay patunay ng patuloy na pagsuporta ng General Nakar District Jail sa rehabilitasyon, pagpapaunlad ng kakayahan, at pagbibigay ng pag-asa sa bawat PDL. Abangan ang mga susunod pang aktibidad na naglalayong isulong ang pagbabago at makataong paglilingkod tungo sa mas ligtas na lipunan.

Under the supervision of District Jail Warden JCINSP HARRY C BALLON, General Nakar District Jail joins the observance of the 37th National Statistics Month (NSM) this October 2026, pursuant to the memorandum issued by the BJMP Regional Office CALABARZON.

As part of the observance, the jail unit promotes awareness of the importance of statistics and reliable data in supporting informed decision-making, effective governance, and national development through the posting and dissemination of official NSM advocacy materials on the unit’s official page and within the jail facility.

This initiative demonstrates the unit’s commitment to information dissemination and support for government programs that contribute to public awareness and development.

GENERAL NAKAR DISTRICT JAIL, NAKIKIISA SA PUBLIC HEARING PARA SA JAIL PERIMETER SMOKE-FREE AND VAPE-FREE ZONE ORDINANCE OF 2026

Matagumpay na lumahok ang General Nakar District Jail sa isinagawang Public Hearing kaugnay ng panukalang “Jail Perimeter Smoke-Free and Vape-Free Zone Ordinance of 2026” noong Oktubre 23, 2026, sa Sangguniang Bayan ng General Nakar, Quezon.

Pinangunahan ni Honorable Winnie Villareal, Chairman ng Committee on Peace and Order, kasama si Honorable Abegail S. Astejada, ang pagdinig na naglalayong talakayin ang panukalang ordinansa para sa pagpapatupad ng smoke-free at v**e-free zone sa paligid ng pasilidad ng piitan.

Layunin din ng panukalang ordinansa na maipaalam nang maaga sa mga kinauukulan ang mga alituntunin at posibleng ipatupad na pagbabawal sa paninigarilyo at paggamit ng v**e sa itinakdang lugar, lalo na sa mga kamag-anak at iba pang dumadalaw sa kanilang mga mahal sa buhay na kasalukuyang nakapiit. Sa pamamagitan nito, mabibigyan sila ng sapat na kaalaman upang makapaghanda at makasunod sa mga patakarang naglalayong mapanatili ang kaligtasan, kalinisan, at kaayusan sa paligid ng piitan.

Kinatawan ng General Nakar District Jail si Jail Chief Inspector HARRY C BALLON, kasama ang walong (8) tauhan, bilang pagpapakita ng patuloy na pakikiisa ng tanggapan sa mga programang nagtataguyod ng kaayusan, kaligtasan, at kapakanan ng komunidad.

Sa tuloy-tuloy na pakikipag-ugnayan ng General Nakar District Jail, sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni Jail Chief Inspector HARRY C BALLON, inaasahang maipagpapatuloy ang pagtalakay sa panukalang ordinansa sa susunod na Committee Hearing na nakatakda sa Lunes, Oktubre 26, 2026, bilang bahagi ng proseso tungo sa posibleng pagpapatibay nito.

Patuloy ang General Nakar District Jail sa pakikiisa at pakikipagtulungan sa lokal na pamahalaan upang maisulong ang mga hakbang na naglalayong mapanatili ang kaayusan, kaligtasan, at kapakanan ng mga Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL), kanilang mga pamilya, at ng buong komunidad.

ANNUAL PHYSICAL INVENTORY OF BJMP PROPERTIES

Isinagawa ang Annual Physical Inventory of BJMP Properties sa General Nakar District Jail nitong Oktubre 22, 2026, na pinangunahan ni JSINSP SARAH B EGAMINO, Regional Supply Accountable Officer (RSAO).

Ang aktibidad ay isinagawa sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni JCINSP HARRY C BALLON, District Jail Warden ng General Nakar District Jail, bilang bahagi ng patuloy na pagsusulong ng maayos, responsable, at tapat na pangangasiwa sa mga ari-arian ng tanggapan. Layunin nitong matiyak ang wastong pagtatala, beripikasyon, at pangangalaga sa mga pag-aari ng BJMP alinsunod sa umiiral na mga patakaran at pamantayan.

Patuloy na isinusulong ng General Nakar District Jail ang kahusayan, transparency, at accountability sa paglilingkod para sa isang mas maayos at ligtas na pamayanan.

Please be informed that jail visitation from October 25–31, 2026, is hereby suspended in view of the conduct of the 2026 National Correctional Consciousness Week (NACOCOW) celebration inside the jail facility.

This measure is necessary to facilitate the orderly and smooth conduct of the scheduled activities while ensuring the safety, security, and welfare of all Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) and jail personnel.
