LEAP Implementation

Selected deserving clients who qualified for the Livelihood and Education Access Program (LEAP) enrolled and had finished the five days Basic ARC Welding Course facilitated in partnership with San Jose City Skills Training Center. The classes were conducted from April 13 to 17, 2026 under the supervision of Sr.PO/OIC Jeshamaine M. Reyes, Sr.PO Lucrecia B. Martin, School Administrator Christopher B. Agosto and ARC Welding Instructor Mr. Irish Ryan DC. Bagacina (TESDA Accredited) who wholeheartedly shared his skills and expertise on ARC Welding and Carpentry for the clients to learn and up-skill from being construction laborer into skilled workers.
Meanwhile VPA Jeremiah G. Salamanca served as daily documenter, food catering assistant, driver and Co-facilitator while AAIV Kimberly O. De Leon and JO Darriel A. Dato assisted as canvassers, Co-facilitators and Administrative Assistants.

A random drug testing using the kit provided by DOJ-PPA Region 3 was done simultaneously to the participants as part of their compliance to their probation conditions.
Participants tested negative for illegal drug use.

In compliance with MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 114 issued by President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. on energy conservation protocols, the San Jose City Parole and Probation Office has implemented a TEMPORARY 4-day work week schedule, effective March 9, 2026.
