𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
This course equips cybersecurity stakeholders to evaluate, direct, monitor, and communicate governance and management requirements. Participants apply international frameworks and tools to protect confidentiality, integrity, availability, privacy, resilience, and consumer safety while aligning organizational practices and technology solutions with statutory and regulatory requirements through continuous improvement cycles.
𝗧𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀:
The course is limited to one hundred (100) participants from Region VIII - Eastern Visayas region only. Participation is open to government personnel (including those from SUCs, NGAs, and LGUs), private-sector workers, and students on a first-come, first-served basis. Eligible participants include, but are not limited to:
1. Members of cybersecurity and data privacy project and operations teams
2. Cybersecurity leads and data protection officers (DPOs)
3. IT project and service managers
4. Teachers of IT-related courses
𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀:
1. Educational Background: Open to graduates of any technology-related, business, management, or allied fields. Individuals from other disciplines with an interest in digital technologies and cybersecurity are also welcome.
2. Work Experience: No prior professional cybersecurity experience required. Basic exposure to computers, digital platforms, or organizational technology systems is helpful but not mandatory.
3. Knowledge: Basic understanding of computers, internet usage, and general awareness of online safety, digital privacy, and common cyber risks is recommended. Prior knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks or standards is not required.
4. Skills: Basic computer literacy, willingness to learn cybersecurity concepts, and interest in understanding how organizations manage digital security, data protection, and cyber risks. No prior teaching or specialized technical experience required.
𝗔𝗱𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀:
1. Must complete the full duration of the training.
2. Must accomplish required outputs.
3. There is no registration fee.
