The Embassy of the Czech Republic was honored to receive a personally created artwork from JO2 Kristine Soguilon Lim, Philippine Navy Reservist and Goodwill Ambassador for Culture and the Arts. 🎨
The artwork forms part of “Bridging Horizons: Naval Cultural Exchange Through Arts,” a five-year initiative of the Philippine Navy – Civil Military Operations Group and the Naval Reserve Command, promoting cultural exchange and friendship through art.

The Naval Forces Reserve – National Capital Region (NFR - NCR), under the leadership of CAPT MEDARDO C DE ACOSTA JR. PN (MNSA)(RES), successfully conducted its 2nd Commander’s Guidance Reception on 28 February 2026 at Dimalupig Hall, AFP Commissioned Officers’ Country Club, Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon City.
The activity convened NFR NCR officers and personnel in a formal assembly to strengthen unity of effort, reinforce command direction, and align operational priorities across subordinate units. Through this engagement, participants were provided a common understanding of leadership intent and strategic focus, thereby enhancing organizational coherence and mission effectiveness.
During the Commander’s Call, CDR ANECITO B LUMANTAS PN (GSC), Commander of the Naval Reserve Center National Capital Region, attended and delivered a firm message of support and leadership commitment. He reaffirmed NRC NCR’s dedication to providing clear strategic guidance, sustaining operational readiness, and strengthening coordination among reserve units to ensure the effective ex*****on of NFR-NCR’s mission.
Overall, the activity emphasized the vital importance of cohesive leadership, shared responsibility, and unified action in advancing the objectives of the NFR NCR.
