RPTโ€“Barangay Partnership Program & Information Dissemination Campaign 2025

The City Treasurerโ€™s Office, through its Real Property Tax Division, has successfully conducted its Information Dissemination Campaign under the RPTโ€“Barangay Partnership Program 2025, covering 18 out of 23 barangays in Tagum City to date.

This initiative underscores the City Governmentโ€™s commitment to strengthening collaboration with barangays and ensuring that constituents are well-informed about real property tax policies, processes, and services. By bringing accurate information directly to the communities, the program aims to foster transparency, compliance, and greater public awareness in support of efficient local revenue generation.

Strengthening Local Fiscal Management

City Treasurer Ms. Annie G. Beltran, together with key personnel from the City Treasurerโ€™s Office, actively participated in the Training on LGU Credit Financing: Updated Guidelines on Processing and Issuance of CNDSC & BC, and the Orientation on BLGF MC No. 012-2025 held at the Grand Regal Hotel, Davao City, from July 14โ€“16, 2025.

This training, facilitated by the Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF), equips our local treasury leaders with updated knowledge and best practices to ensure responsible LGU borrowing, sound fiscal management, and effective implementation of national directives.

Empowered local finance teams mean more sustainable and responsive services for our constituents. Kudos to our CTO for continuously raising the bar!

Keeping It Fair at the Market!

To protect consumers and ensure fair trade, our dedicated CTO personnel from the Business License and Fees Division conducted Registration, Testing, and Sealing of Weights and Measures at the Tagum City Public Market.

Through this activity, vendors and buyers alike are assured that all weighing scales and measuring devices used in our market are accurate and properly calibrated โ€” because every gram counts when it comes to trust and fairness!

Currency Matters, Service Better!

Our dedicated CTO collectors recently participated in the Currency Familiarization and Sorting Workshop conducted by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas at the City Economic Enterprises Office.

This training ensures that our collectors are well-equipped to handle, sort, and verify Philippine currency accurately and efficiently โ€” safeguarding public funds while delivering honest and quality service to our taxpayers.
