On 27 October 2026, Ang Mo Kio North NPC, CARA Singapore and Ang Mo Kio–Thye Hua Kwan Hospital came together at the Count On Us @ AMK-THKH event, which was graced by Mr Yip Hon Weng, Grassroots Advisor for Yio Chu Kang SMC, to launch a specially designed tissue box aimed at raising awareness of the CARA app and community support resources.

The initiative seeks to strengthen community support for persons living with dementia by enabling lookout alerts to be shared through the CARA app and LifeSG, allowing the community to help reunite missing persons with their loved ones.

Together, we can build a safer, more caring and dementia-inclusive community, where every helping hand makes a difference.

Monthly Scam Bulletin #10 (16 October 2026)

💎️ *Offered an online job involving Pokémon or other trading cards? It could be a scam!*

Scammers contact victims through unsolicited messages or calls, offering fake ‘jobs’ that require them to complete simple tasks (for e.g., opening digital trading card packs) for initial commissions, before tricking them into making deposits to unlock higher-value tasks.

⚠️ NEVER accept dubious job offers that offer lucrative returns for minimal effort or require upfront payments.
