✨ Deepavali Celebrations at NBSS! ✨

Our Navalites immersed themselves in the festive spirit of Deepavali through a delightful blend of learning, creativity and celebration!

From savouring traditional snacks during recess and discovering the story behind the Festival of Lights to crafting paper Diya, our students embraced the meaning and traditions of this special occasion. The celebrations culminated in a vibrant hall concert featuring an engaging drama performance on visiting etiquette, dazzling dances and wonderful performances by our talented Navalites!

A joyful celebration of culture, learning and togetherness! 🎉

🚀 Explorer’s Fest 2026 🚀

We saw passion in action at NBSS Explorer’s Fest, featuring over 80 booths celebrating our students’ self-initiated learning projects, creativity and passions!

From coding games and handmade crafts to cosplay creations and dessert-making, the Pavilion and ISH were buzzing with opportunities to explore different passions and learn by doing. Students also picked up new skills through student-led workshops in music, animation and more! Navalites also enjoyed interactive games and photo booths created by our Digital Literacy Board student councillors. The Sports and Wellness Board added a refreshing touch with their fruit smoothie booth, alongside displays of Interdisciplinary Project Work projects.

More than just a showcase, Explorer’s Fest celebrated the joy of learning beyond the classroom — empowering students to take initiative, share their passions and inspire one another through creativity, collaboration and discovery. 💡🌱

🌟 Navalite’s Learning & Exploration Week 🌟

Learning comes alive when curiosity meets discovery!

From exploring literature and the arts to building cyberwellness awareness, making informed digital choices and taking on edible challenges, our Sec 1s and Sec 2s learnt to think critically, create boldly and make responsible choices.

Our Sec 3s took learning beyond the classroom through industry learning journeys to Dorsett Hotel, LTA, SBS Transit and more, gaining real-world insights into diverse careers. Talks on PFP, Polytechnic and ITE pathways further empowered them to explore possibilities and make informed decisions about their futures.

Growing in knowledge, grounded in values, and inspired to explore new possibilities — that’s learning in action at NBSS!

What a fantastic close to 2026! 🎉✨ Our Navalites wrapped up the school year with heart, talent, and celebration!

Guided by our Peer Support Leaders, students shared gratitude cards and enjoyed a class meal together. We cheered on amazing performances at Navalites Got Talent, and celebrated our student achievements in academics and character at School Achievement Day! 🏆🎤

Today also marks a special milestone as we begin preparations for NBSS’ 70th Anniversary with the planting of the first of 70 trees, symbolising our school’s continued growth and resilience. 🌱🇸🇬

Wishing all our Navalites a restful school holiday! ❤️
