Do you have your Halloween costume picked out yet? Here’s some inspo from the live stage prologue cast at 's Allen Theatre. Before the iconic silent horror film The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari rolled on the silver screen, these actors took to the stage in futurist, avant-garde looks to set the spooky, surreal mood for the audience.

This Mother's Day weekend, we take time to honor our former late Youth Librarian, Angela "Angie" Pope Margerum. During her time at the Martin L. King, Jr. Campus, she made sure to focus on our teens as they prepare for the biggest life change after high school: Career & College Prep along with Financial Literacy. She strived to teach our youth that they are all important and the keys to our future.

If you have a chance to stop by the branch today to browse Angie's Corner, we are open 10am-6pm! We also have a lovely Mother's Day Storytime planned for our little ones.
