Happy Halloween from Erie County! 👻

Tonight’s the night for costumes, candy and a little spooky fun! Before you head out trick-or-treating, keep these safety tips in mind:

- Carry a flashlight or glow stick so you can be seen.
- Use sidewalks and crosswalks, obey traffic signals, and look both ways before crossing.
- Watch for cars and remember drivers may have trouble seeing you in the dark.
- Check your candy before digging in!
- Make sure costumes fit well and masks don’t block your vision.

A little Halloween fun at the Erie County Courthouse!

We welcomed approximately 100 little trick-or-treaters from local daycare programs for our annual Trick-or-Treat Trail earlier today!

County departments decorated their stations, handed out treats and enjoyed plenty of smiles, costumes and Halloween excitement along the way.

A big thank-you to our county employees and everyone who helped make this annual tradition so much fun for our youngest visitors!

Beginning November 4, Erie County is proud to join communities across the nation in , an initiative to honor our veterans and their families.

Erie County Executive Christina Vogel and staff toured US Netting, a local manufacturer creating custom industrial netting and webbing for customers around the world.

With 32 employees, US Netting produces products used by every branch of the U.S. military, the Department of Homeland Security, the FBI and CIA, along with major companies like Amazon and Walmart.

From its 25,000-square-foot facility in Erie County, this local business is connecting our region to industries and customers around the globe.

Erie County voters, today, Tuesday, October 27, is the last day to apply for a mail-in ballot or vote in person using an on-demand mail ballot at the Voter Registration Office.

⏰ The deadline is 5 p.m.

Still planning to vote? Election Day is next Tuesday, November 3. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
