At this evening’s special meeting, the Erie County Board of Elections voted 4–3 on a change in board leadership. Councilman Drexel will serve as chair for the remainder of the term.

The biggest highlight from yesterday's Board of Elections meeting: the ballot for the spring primary has been certified!

This means that mail ballots are moving, and early in-person voting (requesting a mail ballot in the elections office and receiving a ballot to vote there) is available starting TODAY in the Elections Office at the Erie County Courthouse.

If you requested a ballot to vote in this year’s primary, you should be receiving it in the mail sometime around the middle/end of next week.

Voters have until May 12th to request a mail ballot/vote early in-person at the Courthouse.
