Take a look at some incredible student artwork at the Garlic City High School Spring Art Show, which took place in Downtown Gilroy on May 15. This student art show was part of the broader Third Friday Art Walk event which happens monthly in Downtown.

The theme for the show was Youth Night. Downtown businesses hosted different high school art classes and student work was showcased for the public to see.

Many thanks to the students from Gilroy High School and Christopher High School who participated. Many thanks to their teachers for helping organize the showcase.

Participating classes from GHS included Ms. Smith (drawing and painting), Mr. Saldana (ceramics), Mrs. Mingus (mixed media), and Mrs. Oswald (digital design). Participating classes from CHS included Ms. Tillotson (photography), Ms. Willie (ceramics), Mr. Rodriguez (drawing and painting), and Mr. Balajadia (photography).

Amazing job by all of our participating student-artists!
