Today, we proudly celebrated our Student Ambassadors during the Executive Branch Student Ambassador Blazer Ceremony at Medgar & Myrlie Evers Career Development Center!

The blazer represents more than professional attire. It symbolizes leadership, responsibility, service, and the commitment to represent ECDC with pride and excellence. We are deeply grateful to our generous donors and community partners who invested in our students and their futures.

Today, we didn’t just present blazers; we celebrated the leaders our students are becoming!

What an amazing first day at the Medgar & Myrlie Evers Career Development Center!

The ECDC staff was excited to welcome our scholars back for another incredible school year. There is nothing like seeing our hallways filled with smiling faces, excitement, and the energy that comes with a fresh start.

A special highlight of today was officially reopening our Cosmetology and Barbering Programs! We are thrilled to offer these opportunities once again and can’t wait to watch our scholars develop their talents, earn industry credentials, and prepare for successful careers.

Here’s to an amazing school year filled with growth, achievement, and endless possibilities!
