Received your refund by check when you chose direct deposit? We default to paper checks in some circumstances:
🔀 Mismatched names between return and bank account
🔢 Incorrect account type (e.g. savings, checking)
🏦 Routing number mistake or typo
🕵️ Missing account information on an amended return
❓ Financial institution rejects deposit without information provided to Treasury
