Fall in Kentucky deserves its own shirt :)

My Kentucky floral design got an autumn makeover! I traded some of the spring florals for pumpkins, fall leaves, rich autumn colors, and all the little details that make this season so beautiful.

Each element was individually painted and carefully arranged by me in Adobe Illustrator to create this watercolor-style Kentucky design. No AI artwork here, just lots of tiny details, rearranging flowers, changing colors, and probably spending way too long deciding exactly where each pumpkin should go.

It’s printed on a soft Bella+Canvas tee and available in several fall-ready colors, including this gorgeous maroon.

After a long and difficult pregnancy, we’re so grateful to finally introduce our sweet boy, Ryan Scott Barnett!

Ryan was born September 13 at 12:10 a.m., weighing 8 lbs. 13 oz. and measuring 21 inches long. We are incredibly thankful that he’s here, healthy, and doing well. We’re also so grateful for the doctors, nurses, and hospital staff who took such wonderful care of us.

This first couple of weeks have been a mix of sleep deprivation, lots of adjustments, and even more cuddles. Andrew is so excited to be a big brother, and is doing really well adjusting .

Several people have reached out, and I’m so thankful for every message. I haven’t been very good at responding as we soak up this time together and adjust to life as a family of four. We will try to get to messages when we can, but we are so thankful for our support system and the people in our life who have stepped in and helped to make this transition easier. 💕

You’ve heard of rage cleaning…but have you heard of rage designing?

After finding out for the second time that my induction was being pushed back, I needed somewhere to put all that frustration. I was past my due date, incredibly uncomfortable, and very ready to not be pregnant.

Since hip and back pain made it difficult to clean, nest, or tackle many of the projects I had planned, I decided to channel that energy into something I COULD do: designing!

Apparently, that was all the motivation I needed to turn 6 of my existing sticker designs into T-shirts AND create 3 brand-new fall designs! I launched my first Kentucky Floral Tee after the first induction got pushed back and the rest after the second one was moved.

Many of these ideas had been sitting in my notebook for over a year, so seeing them finally come to life brought me some much-needed joy during those last couple of weeks of pregnancy.

I managed to get most of these finished before Ryan made his appearance (which thankfully he didn't wait until 41 weeks for the scheduled induction), but then life with a newborn happened, and I never got around to sharing them!

Now that we're home and settling into life as a family of four, I'm finally ready to share what all that rage designing turned into!

I’m so excited to finally share something I’ve been wanting to create for a long time: my very first T-shirt!

The Kentucky Floral design began as the first sticker I created for Little Traveling Llama, and it will always be especially meaningful to me. Even after creating more than 95 sticker designs, this one is still one of my absolute favorites. There’s something so special about seeing that original artwork become a shirt people can wear.

I’m also incredibly grateful to my beautiful baby sister Serena for agreeing put up with me and model it. She brought the design to life perfectly, and I love how these photos turned out!

I’ve been wanting to share more behind-the-scenes moments from my sticker shop, so here’s my first packing-orders video! 📦

Today I packed two orders featuring “Apparently I am not an afternoon person either” and “Your wings were ready, but my heart was not” from my Always in My Heart collection.

The last one and collection is especially meaningful to me, and I never take it lightly when someone chooses one of those designs. I tucked an extra butterfly sticker into that order as a small gesture of care. I hope the person receiving it feels seen and knows that the baby they love is remembered. 🦋

We had family photos taken over a month ago, and I’m just now getting around to sharing them. It was horribly hot, but I’m so grateful we braved the heat and captured these sweet moments from this season of our family.

My toxic trait is thinking I need to sell everything I create. I was making some name tracing and coloring sheets for my son just because, and then a few days later I put them on Etsy... lol I might have a problem, I couldn't help it. My husband keeps teasing me saying not everything needs to be a business. Lol I might be a lost cause🤦‍♀️

Thought I’d save everyone a few questions.

The number of people who’ve looked completely shocked when I say I’m due September 9 has been… interesting. 😂 Apparently I look like I could have this baby any minute now.

I even had a sweet old lady in the check out line saying with White eyes when she found out my due date “oh honey you’re not gonna make it!”
