Toastmasters had a great meeting today! With back to school on the agenda this month, today’s meeting theme was back to school. Many great table topics and laughs with this theme! 📚📝

Stacy Gutschenritter was awarded with the best table topic today. Stacy’s question was “looking back, what was the number one thing you HAD to have going back to school?” Stacy gave a short speech on an outfit she bought with her own money for back to school and it was a long sleeve sweater! What was the one thing you had to have? 🧥

Lauren Boysen was awarded with most improved speech today. Lauren gave her ice breaker speech letting the toast masters know more about her and to get her in the groove of doing speeches in front of an audience! 🗣

If you want to know more on how to boost your confidence and learn more on your leadership skills, we are always welcoming new members! Join us in our next meeting via person or on zoom! We would love having you join toastmasters!! 🌎😁

We had a great meeting today where we learned how to deal with a difficult audience, why some people choose to be the assistant manager in their own lives, and we shared why we joined Toastmasters to begin with.

You might be surprised that it wasn't all about the public speaking angle. Toastmasters also helps you develop leadership skills that you can use both in your professional and personal lives.

If you're interested in learning how you can boost your leadership and speaking skills, we invite you to join us (in person or via Zoom) Wednesday, Aug. 25 from 12-1 p.m. at the Union Bank and Trust building at 6811 S. 27th Street.
