Are young women taught how to maintain boundaries, or how to compromise them?

In this clip from The Prosperity Podcast, Criminal Defense Attorney Ashley Turner and MDEAT Youth Services Specialist Dominique Turner discuss why boundaries, self-esteem and knowing your worth are important conversations for today’s youth.

Through MDEAT Youth Services, these conversations help young people build confidence, make positive decisions and understand the power of their voice.

Too often, young girls are taught to keep the peace, go with the flow and make others comfortable before they are taught how to speak up for themselves.

But boundaries matter.

Being kind does not mean being silent.
Being respectful does not mean ignoring your own feelings. And knowing your worth starts with knowing your voice matters.
