🎃🧡 Pumpkin Fun in Ms. Lopez’s Kindergarten Class! 🧡🎃

Our little learners had a fun-filled day of learning and exploring! We reviewed the letter sounds we've learned, explored the life cycle of a pumpkin, and practiced identifying shapes through fun, hands-on activities!

There were lots of smiles, creativity, and learning as we celebrated the fall season!

What an unforgettable way to wrap up Red Ribbon Week and kick off Halloween weekend! Today, our hallways turned into a living storybook.

We were visited by W***y Wonka, TWO Ms. Frizzles ready to take off on the Magic School Bus, the Lorax speaking for the trees, and so many other beloved characters straight from our favorite books!

Thank you to our amazing students, families, and staff for bringing so much creativity, enthusiasm, and love for reading to our campus today.

🍿🚒✈️ 2nd Grade’s Big Adventure in Nac! 🏦🏛️

Our 2nd graders had an absolute blast exploring our incredible community today! We took a trip around Nacogdoches to learn, explore, and see how our local hometown works.

Here is a look at where our adventure took us:

🍿 SuSu’s Popcorn: We got a behind-the-scenes look at how their delicious popcorn is made and even got to sample the yummy Marshmallow flavor!

🏛️ Nacogdoches Visitor Center: We stepped back in time and learned all about the rich history of Texas’ oldest town!

🚒 Nacogdoches Fire Station: We got to sit inside a real fire truck, see the firefighters' gear up close, and meet "Bertha"—the oldest engine in Nac!

🏦 CBTX Bank: The kiddos peeked inside the vault, visited the boardroom, held real $500 and $1,000 bills (!), and learned why saving money is so important.

✈️ The Airport: We got up close to real airplanes, learned how they get fueled, and discovered just how far these planes can travel!

We even saw a CELEBRITY in the wild! Coach Carthel took time out from winning football games at SFA to say hi to our crew!

It was a full day of learning, fun, and community pride! Huge thanks to all of our amazing hosts for welcoming our 2nd graders today! ❤️

We’re hiding from bad choices today!

It was Camo Day for Red Ribbon Week! Today, our students blended in with friends who make healthy, positive, and drug-free choices. Surrounding ourselves with good influences helps all of us stand out!

The Red Ribbon Week fun continues tomorrow... get ready to get comfy because tomorrow is Pajama Day! 🛌✨

🌎🎶 What an amazing experience for our fourth graders! Our students enjoyed a special field trip to hear the SFA Symphony Orchestra perform selections from The Planets by Gustav Holst.

They had the opportunity to experience the beauty and power of live orchestral music while making connections to the music, the planets, and their own learning. What a wonderful way to bring music to life and inspire a love of the arts! We are so thankful for this memorable experience! 🎻✨

Our campus was glowing today as we kicked off Red Ribbon Week with Neon Day! It was amazing to see our students and staff shine so bright as we show our commitment to living drug-free and making positive choices every day.
