K-5 Elementary School Central Elementary is focused on building relationships, integrating technology, and meeting the needs of each individual student.
Our school has implemented programs and systems to help students self-regulate their emotions, provide positive role models, and help one another problem solve. We have teamed up with community partners to provide afterschool tutoring, resources to families, and mental health services to our students and their families. In addition to all of this, we are offering STEM camp to interested students,

We're only one week into Summer break, but this already feels like so long ago. Thanks, Mrs. Collett for being such a fun part of Central and allowing the students to tape you to the wall. They will never forget that day

The good news: CENTRAL IS GETTING A NEW ROOF!
The bad news: Central playground will be closed for the summer while work is being done.

Congratulations, Fifth Grade! You did it and we are so proud. We have watched you grow the past few years into some amazing young scholars. We can't wait to see where life takes you. Have a wonderful summer break and don't forget to keep in touch with us!

THANK YOU!
Earlier this month we w**ded, planted, and cleaned up the Central Elementary Community School Garden. It was so exciting to see all the little hands helping to make the garden successful this year.
Thank you to everyone who has helped so far and a special thanks to Kaysha and Aaron W. for sharing their expertise and to Community School Coordinator Ashley Z. for helping spread the word to families and neighbors!

Can every day be Field Day?
We all had such a wonderful time. Thank you so much to all of the volunteers that came to help run stations and supervise students for the day. Thank you Mrs. Kelley for all of the time and effort you put into organizing everything. The day was perfect!

Memorial Day - Did you know that from 1868 until 1970 Memorial Day was called Decoration Day.
It was a day set aside in May specifically to honor fallen soldiers by decorating their graves.
In the year 2000, Congress passed an act asking all Americans to pause for a moment of silence in remembrance of all those who gave the ultimate sacrifice while serving this country.
Enjoy time spent today with family, and set aside a moment to remember and honor those that aren't with us to celebrate.
