Blue Thumb was invited to be part of the Tar Creek Apprenticeship Program in which young tribal people can enroll each summer. On this particular day (June 11) the focus was on gathering stream data. Recently, Blue Thumb joined Woodward County Conservation District for their Outdoor Classroom at Boiling Springs State Park! During their rotations with Blue Thumb, over 200 students participated in the activity 'Just Passing Through'. In this activity, students mimic water droplets travelling through a watershed and model how vegetation helps water infiltrate into the ground. 🌱💧
