Town of Poughkeepsie Recreation Department

Our Town will hold a wreath-laying ceremony Monday at 10 am at the Town War Memorial (located near the old Town Hall at the corner of 44 and Burnett Boulevard, beside the Town Highway Department).

Please also join us after at the Dutchess County ceremony at 11 am at the County War Memorial, corner of Main and Raymond.

All are welcome.

Town Offices will be closed in observance of the holiday.

We have lots of fun while traversing the highest elevation in the Town of Poughkeepsie! All proceeds go to maintaining our beautiful community park 🍎🍑!

Heads up!

The basketball courts at Sheafe Rd Park have had their hoops removed. Those courts will be repaved early next week.

New hoops will be installed shortly thereafter.

We appreciate your patience. If you need to shoot some hoops, there is a court nearby at New Hamburg park.
