INTRODUCING THE CITY VIEW TENANTS ASSOCIATION / PRESENTAMOS LA ASOCIACIÓN DE INQUILINOS DE CITY VIEW [Español a continuación]
Old landlord, new landlord, longtime property manager, multiple city housing departments -- no one's taken action as the tenants of City View Terrace Apartments in the Del Paso Heights neighborhood of Sacramento repeatedly called for their homes to be made safe, livable, and comfortable. Tired of waiting, they took their calls directly to their local politician. The next day, inspectors came out and began communication with their landlord, Monterey Park resident Derek Ma. However, comments on the city's code enforcement portal only matter if it results in material change. The City View Tenants Association is united in the fight to make these changes come to life.
