I recently had the opportunity to attend the Food Literacy Fête hosted by Food Literacy Center here in Sacramento. It was such a great evening celebrating the incredible work being done to connect kids and families to healthy food, nutrition education, and hands on learning experiences.

Today was a major milestone for our community as we officially celebrated the grand re opening of Station 140, formerly Fire Station 15.
What started as conversations with neighbors about preserving the historic Streng Brothers architecture turned into a years long effort to bring new life and new services to this site. Today, Station 140 will serve as home to the Mobile Integrated Health unit, Street Overdose Response Team, Mobile Crisis Unit, and additional emergency response services that will support residents across Sacramento.
This project was made possible through Measure U funding and strong collaboration with the Sacramento Fire Department, Facilities Department, Measure U Commissioner Marbella Sala, and community members who helped shape this vision from the beginning.
Excited to see these doors officially open and this space serving our community once again!
