Helping those in need since 1977!

CAM provides food, clothing, utility assistance, prescription medication assistance, identification recovery (ID's and birth certificates), sack lunches for the homeless, a free mail box, and referrals. This work is done through donations of food and clothing, volunteers (over 200 to keep the operation going) and financial contributions.

During the months of October and November, CAM collects Thanksgiving-type foods for those in need during our Annual Share Your Harvest Food Drive.

Often times, the families we serve won’t be able to have a traditional Thanksgiving meal and furthermore are simply hungry for food in general. Through the generous donations of individuals, families, churches and businesses, these special Thanksgiving items will be a gift and surprise for families that come to CAM seeking food.

Visit our website to get more information and gather your friends, family members, co-workers, church groups, etc. and ask them to help you collect items for CAM. You can drop off your donations to our downtown campus at 110 McCullough Avenue Monday-Thursday between 8:00am and 3:30pm or Fridays between 8:00am and 12:00pm. A Sweet Partnership with a Big Impact ~ stop by Kilwins San Antonio during October, pick up something sweet for yourself, your family, a friend or coworker, and know that a portion of your purchase will help CAM continue serving our neighbors in need.

We are incredibly grateful to Larry and the team at Kilwins San Antonio for choosing CAM as their community partner this October. Partnerships like this not only provide financial support for our mission, but they also introduce CAM to new people in our community who may not yet know about the work happening here every day. is partnering with CAM this Fall for their 4th Annual Downtown Pickleball Challenge, which will be on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at Legacy Park, 103 W. Houston Ave. from 2:30 to 6:00 pm, with open play from 2:00 to 2:30 pm. All proceeds from the tournament and raffles will benefit CAM, helping support our work in the community. We can't thank Gensler's enough for this partnership!

Gensler's is expanding their impact this year by hosting a food drive during the event to support CAM's annual Share Your Harvest Thanksgiving Food Drive! We encourage all participants, sponsors, and guests to bring non-perishable food donations to help stock CAM's pantry and support local families in need. A list of food items can be found on our website at cam-sa.org.
