May is Bike Month in San Antonio, and thereโs no better time to swap a few car trips for a bike commute. ๐ฒ
Whether youโre heading to work, running errands, or just enjoying the ride, a little planning can make your trip cooler, easier, and more enjoyable.
-Time it right: Ride early in the morning or later in the evening when itโs more comfortable.
-Choose your route: A slightly longer path with fewer stops can help you stay cool and keep moving.
-Dress smart: Wear light-colored, breathable, moisture-wicking fabrics to stay comfortable.
-Hydrate: Bring water and aim to drink regularly, especially in the Texas heat.
A few small adjustments can make a big difference. Happy riding this Bike Month!

Happy Bike to Work Day, SA!๐ด๐ข๐
Transportation and the Parks & Recreation Department had a great morning greeting cyclists on their way to work.
The weather was great for a ride! Need an excuse to start? Consider a bike when your trip is under a mile.
