We are excited to recognize Victoria Soto, 12th grade student at Somerset Academy Brooks, for participating in the McNay Art Museum Spotlight Program 2025–2026! 👏🖌️

The McNay’s award-winning Spotlight Program invites K–12 students to create personal and creative responses inspired by a featured artwork from the museum’s collection. This year’s featured artist is San Antonio artist Katie Pell, with the featured artwork Charm and Weight. 🎭🖼️

Victoria has also been a dedicated student in Art 3 throughout this school year, continuing to grow her creativity and artistic talent. 🌟🎨

Javid has officially earned his Level One Certification in Industrial Maintenance Assistant and Production Tool Operator through St. Philip's College! 👏🎓

Javid began his advanced manufacturing journey with Alamo Academies and St. Philip's College in the fall of 2024 and has worked tirelessly toward his goals ever since. His dedication and determination helped him secure a summer internship with Toyota in the summer of 2025! 🚗⚙️

Next year, Javid will continue pursuing his passion for advanced manufacturing through the TXFAME program as he works toward building a future career in mechatronics! 🤖🔩

We are incredibly proud of Javid and cannot wait to see all he accomplishes in the future! 🌟
