Next week we will be promoting Red Ribbon Week. Red Ribbon Week raises awareness about the importance of staying drug-free. Students, families, and schools can work together to support one another, make positive decisions, and build a healthy, drug-free future. Have your child join in our dress up fun!

A huge THANK YOU to all our Smith Families who joined us for an evening of math, learning, and fun! It was wonderful to see our students and parents enjoying the activities together.

We also want to thank our amazing teachers, staff, custodial team, Communities in School program, and our sponsors for coming together to make this special evening possible!

Tomorrow is Dyslexia Awareness Day! Dyslexia is a common, lifelong learning difference that affects how the brain processes written and spoken language. People with dyslexia can learn, be successful, and reach their goals with the right support, instruction, and understanding. Let’s wear RED tomorrow, October 14th to show your support for Dyslexia Awareness!

¡Mañana es el Día de la Concientización sobre la Dislexia! Smith Families, This Friday, September 11, we will be celebrating Grandparent's Day. This event is only for our grandparents of our Smith students. The HeadStart event will begin at 8:30a.m and our Kinder-2nd Grade event will begin at 9:45am. We encourage all Grandparents to register via the QR code found on the flyer. Please check your child's backpack for the flyer and encourage their grandparents to register for the event.
