Wilderness Oak Elementary PTA

The 2025-2026 school year has come to an end, and we're thankful for our PTA Board members that work tirelessly, behind-the-scenes, and at each event making sure our Wolves have the best school year possible. They are the reason we’re able to have Spirit Cart Fridays, festival, Glow Party, fun runs, field day, bike rodeo, library visits, fun programs, stage decorations for all your kids' programs, and so much more!

We'd love to have you join us next year, so we can continue to offer these fun things in the Wilderness! We can’t do it without YOU! 💙🐺

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our Wilderness Oak families during the fall Fun Run, PTA was able to purchase brand new sound equipment — including a new headset — for Coach Stepan and Coach Karen!

Our gym is now louder (in the best way), clearer, and ready for every pep talk, warm‑up, and high‑energy moment Coach brings to our Wolves.

We’re so grateful for our families that always show up and makes these upgrades possible. Your support truly amplifies 😉 the experience for all our students. 🐺💙

You get a popsicle! You get a popsicle! Everybody gets a popsicle! 🎉🎉Talk about a sweet end to the school year - as a last hurrah to a crazy busy month, PTA treated all of our students and teachers to popsicles this week. It's just a small thank you for making this school year so amazing! 💙🐺

The stage is set for our 2026 5th grade graduation. 🎓PTA spent the day putting the finishing touches on for tomorrow's celebration. We're so proud of you, Wolves! 💙🐺

As we wrap up another incredible school year, our PTA wanted to share a small token of gratitude for the amazing educators who pour their hearts into our Wolves each and every day. This week, every Wilderness Oak teacher received a Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) gift card — a little “thank you” for the big impact they make. From creative lessons to endless encouragement, our teachers show unwavering dedication to their students, and we are so grateful for the passion they bring to our school.

This gift is just one way to say thank you for your hard work, your commitment, and the love you put into helping our Wolves grow. We appreciate you more than words can say. 💙🐺

What an incredible year on the track!🚶‍♀️🚶🏻 Each Wednesday morning, our amazing parent volunteers showed up with energy, encouragement, and so much heart. From motivational speeches to running/walking safety, from cheering on every lap to creating inspiring posters — YOU made Wednesday Walkers a place where our Wolves felt supported, motivated, and excited to start their day.

Some mornings we had up to 80 students walking, talking, laughing, and moving — all because of the dedication and love you brought to this group. You created a space where kids felt seen, celebrated, and inspired, and that impact will stay with them far beyond the track.

Please join us in giving Martha Schoenewe, Devereaux Towner, and Melanie Garcia-Canet a round of applause for leading our Wednesday Walkers group this year. 👏👏 We’re already looking forward to next year and all the steps, smiles, and memories still to come. 💙🐺

This week we proudly recognized two outstanding Wilderness Oak alumni who were selected as recipients of the PTA Wolf Alumni Scholarship. 🎓 Congratulations, Savannah Carper and Kyra Yiannos! 💙

Their applications shined brightly; not only showcasing impressive academic achievements and extracurricular involvement, but also bringing forward a unique story, rich with purpose, passion, and a clear vision for the next chapter of their academic adventure. Their depth, drive, and character remind us exactly why the Wilderness community continues to cheer them on.

Your future is bright, your path is promising, and your Wolf Pack is so proud of you. No matter where your journey takes you next, the Wilderness will always be home. 🐺💙
