Your Move Went Wrong. What Now?

Most Los Angeles area consumers don't know what recourse they have when a mover holds their belongings or ghosts after delivery. They assume it's a lost cause. It usually isn't.

At our Smooth Moves Symposium, California's Chief Enforcement Officer walks through exactly what to do and who to contact.

The Item Is Sold Out. Now What?
Every holiday season, must-have items sell out, panic sets in, and scammers pounce with third-party resellers, fake stock ads, and copycat sites.

Three moves that keep you safe:
1. Set stock alerts on the official retailer's site
2. Check the URL character by character before paying elsewhere
3. If the price is dramatically below retail, it's bait

The gift can wait a week. Identity theft is forever.

🎃 The Real Trick of Halloween Isn't at the Door.

Halloween drives a surge of shopping scams every year in the Los Angeles area:
· Fake costume sites that take payment and never ship
· Copycat ads for haunted attractions that don't exist
· Counterfeit event ticket resellers

Three moves that keep you safe:
1. Buy from retailers you already know
2. Verify URLs character by character
3. Buy tickets only from the official venue site
