Willow Glen Cares supports under-resourced students at Willow Glen Middle and High School.
It may surprise some to know that about 30% of students at Willow Glen Middle and High School are underprivileged. They are struggling financially for many different reasons, and some are homeless. These young people face numerous barriers to graduating from high school and raising themselves out of their difficult situations. It's a wrap! Last week we hosted our last Supply Room of the 2025-26 school year. 126 students from the middle school and high school stocked up on personal care supplies. A sturdy backpack is an essential school supply. Each year we purchase backpacks with laptop sleeves so counselors can pass them out to students in need. We’re already planning for next year and stocked up early on new Jansport backpacks. Learn more about how we support students at wgcares.org.

Another fantastic month for the Supply Room! We provided 133 middle and high school students with personal care items and school supplies in April. Thank you to all of our volunteers who work in the Supply Room each month – we couldn’t do it without you!

Eighth graders have a lot of exciting activities coming up including the 8th grade dance and promotion ceremony. We want to help students look their best and are seeking dress donations. 👗We already have plenty of menswear available.
