We are so grateful for the many people who support Next Door Solutions throughout the year.
Right now, we are low on gift cards, and the need is high. Gift cards go directly to survivors and families we are working with as they manage immediate needs like food, gas, clothing, and other essentials.
If you are able, please consider dropping off gift cards at NDS. WE love having cards for $25 and find Target, Safeway, and Walmart to be best.
Every card makes a real difference.
Thank you for showing up for survivors and their families.
Thanks so much!

This year’s Winter Open House was a powerful reminder of how a community can support neighbors in need. More than 660 survivors and family members joined us in December for a day of warmth, joy, and care. Together, our community created a day sharing handmade blankets, scarves, and hats, more than 1,000 stuffed animals, and over 2,000 books for all ages. Guests visited with the animals and team from Animal Assisted Happiness, took photos with our wonderful Santa and Mrs. Claus, made ornaments and paper chains with Local 393 and Moms Demand Action, and enjoyed carnival games, a bounce house, a food pantry, and lunch from our friends at Medina’s.
We are deeply grateful to our sponsors and supporters — Wilson Sonsini, Madrone Ventures, The Radford Family Foundation, Stanford Health Care, Moms Demand Action, and Local 393 — as well as the 100+ volunteers and 120+ groups and individuals who donated books, gift cards, and stuffed animals. Many of you have volunteered, brought your families, decorated our space, or held drives for this event for years. We also want to thank our staff, board, and families for showing up in such a hands-on way to make the day happen. Whether you gave one item or thousands of dollars in gift cards, it all mattered. Thank you for showing survivors and their children that they are seen, valued, and supported.
