A huge THANK YOU to The Home Depot Foundation for helping us kick off this year's Fan Drive with a generous donation of more than 200 box fans!

As temperatures rise across Coastal Georgia, these fans will help older adults stay safe, healthy, and comfortable throughout the summer months. For many older adults living on fixed incomes, a simple box fan can make a meaningful difference during periods of extreme heat.

Beyond providing relief from the heat, the Fan Drive also helps us connect older adults with other services and resources that support successful aging.

We are incredibly grateful to The Home Depot Foundation for their commitment to our community and for helping us care for our neighbors when they need it most.

Senior Citizens Inc. is very proud to be represented at the Meals on Wheels Association of Georgia Annual Conference by our very own Whitney Benberry, who served as a speaker at this year’s event.

Whitney shared her knowledge and experience with peers from across the state, contributing to important conversations about culture and how we can better serve older adults in our communities.

We are proud to share that our President, Patti Lyons, has been honored with the Senior Champion Award by the Meals on Wheels Association of Georgia.

Patti has been a driving force in expanding Meals on Wheels and ensuring older adults can remain independent and supported at home. Everyday, our Meals on Wheels program ensures the older adults we serve receive not just a meal, but a connection and a check-in from someone who cares.

This recognition reflects an incredible career dedicated to helping people age successfully with dignity, connection, and care.
