In honor of National Gun Violence Awareness Day, the Savannah Impact Program (SIP) invites the public to an “End the Gun Violence” awareness event on June 5. This community event calls for an end to gun violence in Savannah and will be held at 2005 Waters Ave. from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

To honor survivors of gun violence, those attending the event are encouraged to wear orange.
