One World Charities Mission tackles poverty, disease, and inequality by providing essential healthcare in Nigeria to vulnerable families, orphaned children & pregnant women—ensuring respectful, non‑discriminatory care regardless of financial circumstance. Our child & family sponsorship solution provides, health, educational, material and emotional aid to very poor children & families in Ogoniland. One-to-one sponsorship gives them the opportunity to break the cycle of poverty and realize their full potential.

ALL TRADITIONAL BIRTH ATTENDANTS WITHIN THE RIVERS SOUTHEAST SENATORIAL DISTRICT ARE INVITED TO JOIN US TOMMOROW 30TH OCTOBER 2026 FOR THE OCTOBER EDITION OF OUR TRADITIONAL BIRTH ATTENDANTS ORIENTATION TRAINING.

We Are Happy To See Traditional Birth Attendants Share Insights About How The Trainings Have Helped Them Assist Pregnant Mothers In Their Villages.

Official available data put the achievements of Rivers State Ministry of Health in reducing maternal mortality pegged at 248 mortality per 100,000 live births which is a major improvement from the previous situation.

However people in some interior rural communities still lack access to these healthcare services aimed at reducing maternal mortality .

For us at One world Charities Mission, It’s a call for action and we respond appropriately by making sure we continually commit to educating vulnerable households in the rural communities we serve especially those without any access to healthcare on the need for safer health habits and precautions.

At Our Nigeria Hospitals, By 9:00 AM Every last Friday of the month, We hold Free training and seminars for traditional birth attendants where we guide them on hygiene and safety concerns when trying to help pregnant mothers in interior villages because early preparation to run and seek for help in Hospitals before transition stage guarantees more safer deliveries than waiting for it to start.

This training is Free and We have Vehicles available to convey interested participants to and fro .

HEALTH SENSITIZATION AND AWARENESS IS AN IMPORTANT COMPONENT OF OUR HEALTH MISSIONS.

In support of the global health campaign for the reduction of maternal mortalities, We have consistently devoted our resources towards programs targeted at reaching out to those in interior communities without access to hospitals or health education centers where they could get help.

According to the projections of the Nigerian State as conceived under the 2024 Maternal and Newborn Mortality Reduction Innovation Initiative, Maternal health is a right and the vision was to see that by the 2027 maternal mortality would at least be reduced by 30% while neonatal mortality by 20% all geared towards seeing that no woman dies while giving birth and no child is lost to preventable causes.

That’s where One World Charities Mission comes in to see how pregnant women in rural communities, traditional birth attendants who ignorantly but genuinely wish to help them can be given the awareness of what the concerns about their well being requires.

Share this helpful pregnancy insights with vulnerable pregnant women in your neighborhood or their caregivers.

As we continue to push for greater access to healthcare for residents of rural communities without healthcare facilities, we recollect special moments from the efforts we have put in realization of our mission goals.

On this date August 8th in last year 2025 we spent time and resources in GBAM BOUE community in Khana Local Government Area.
