What happens when we sit at the table and make room for honest conversation? Last night’s Together We Dine was a beautiful example.
We shared perspectives on what’s happening in America, in Texas, and right here in Tyler. It was an opportunity to express beliefs, share experiences, and hear from others in a space without judgment. One takeaway that stayed with us: listen to understand.
Each participating chamber also had the opportunity to recognize someone with the Common Ground USA Texas Spirit of Civility Award. We were proud to select our member, Whitney Parks!
Whitney is a dedicated, collaborative member and mortgage loan officer who creates space for meaningful conversations through Breakfast Club every third Wednesday. From debt and credit to housing and access to business capital, these discussions address real needs in our community.
Congratulations, Whitney! We appreciate how you show up, bring people together, and share your knowledge. We look forward to your continued impact within Tyler Metro Chamber of Commerce and throughout Tyler.
Thank you to Common Ground USA, Project Unity, our fellow chambers, and all the partners who helped bring this experience together.
