Where does the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce stand on this year's ballot questions?

✅ YES on Question 7: Single-Family Homes. Worcester added 25,000 residents between 2010 and 2020 but built only 10,000 homes. Question 7 removes outdated zoning barriers to starter homes, a market-driven solution with no taxpayer subsidies that helps local employers recruit the talent they need.

❌ NO on Question 8: Prohibit Retail Sale of Adult Recreational Use Ma*****na Question 8 would shut down the state's legal, regulated cannabis industry, including Chamber members Major Bloom, Operations, and Buds Goods & Provisions. It would cost local jobs, erase millions in local tax revenue, and push sales to an untaxed, unregulated illicit market.
