Lovely to welcome some of our partner landlords to our Community Hub today 💛

We work with over 100 landlords in Glasgow, operating nearly 600 flats together, through our Short-Term Housing programme. The event was a rare chance to hear their thoughts in person, and to tell them a bit more about the work that Right There does.

A big thank you to our Head of Housing, Brett Seath, and the team - Linzi Irvine, Sarah Adamson and Amber Berry - for hosting, with support from our CEO Janet Haugh and Director of Programmes Renzo Cardosi.

Because creating a safe place to stay is just the beginning - real impact happens when people are supported to rebuild, reconnect and look to the future with confidence.

World Refugee Day: from temporary to transformative - Right There At Right There, we see every day that one of the most important foundations for that journey is something simple: a safe, secure place to call home.

We’re proud to now be delivering Supported Accommodation services in South Ayrshire, supporting young people leaving care to build safe and stable futures.

Based in Ayr, the service provides more than just a place to stay - offering tailored, practical support to help young people develop the skills and confidence needed for independent living.

Working in partnership with South Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership - and building on the strong foundations established by Quarriers - our team is supporting 16-25-year-olds at risk of homelessness to access education, employment and local services.

Importantly, young people have been involved in redesigning the service, ensuring it reflects their needs and strengthens support around independent living skills.

At Right There, we believe early support is key to creating lasting, positive outcomes.

Bobby the Right There Bear’s been making the rounds, saying his goodbyes, soaking up pats on the head and plenty of “mon Scotland!”s from the team before heading off 💙🤍

He’ll be singing loud in the stands - but wherever he goes, Bobby’s always carrying the message that homelessness can be prevented, and everyone deserves a safe place to call home.
