Le vote à l'urne pour les élections des Conseillers des Français de l'étranger aura lieu ce dimanche 31 mai à l'ambassade de France à Kuala Lumpur (Level 31 - Integra Tower - 348 Jalan Tun Razak).

Le bureau de vote sera ouvert de 8h à 18h.

Attention, pour voter, vous devez présenter l'un des documents suivants prouvant votre identité :
- Carte nationale d'identité française (en cours de validité ou périmée - attention : si périmée, la photo doit permettre de vous identifier)
-Passeport français (en cours de validité ou périmé - attention : si périmé, la photo doit permettre de vous identifier)
- Document officiel (en cours de validité) délivré par une administration publique française. Il doit comporter vos nom, prénom, date et lieu de naissance, photographie. Il doit également permettre d'identifier l'autorité administrative qui vous l'a délivré, la date et le lieu de délivrance
- Carte délivrée lors de votre inscription au registre des Français de l'étranger et carte d'immatriculation consulaire. Toutes les 2 doivent être en cours de validité
- Document (en cours de validité) et délivré par un pays membre de l'Union européenne ou de l'Association européenne de libre-échange (AELE). Il doit comporter vos nom, prénom, date et lieu de naissance, photographie. Il doit également permettre d'identifier l'autorité administrative qui vous l'a délivré, la date et le lieu de délivrance

The Embassy of France had the pleasure to welcome students from the Lycée Français Kuala Lumpur last Wednesday for a special presentation dedicated to the world of diplomacy and international relations. 🇫🇷🇲🇾

Ambassador of France Marc Abensour, together with representatives from the various sections of the Embassy, introduced the students to the many dimensions of diplomatic work and shared insights into their daily missions in Malaysia. From political affairs and economic cooperation to cultural diplomacy, education, defence, and consular services, the discussion highlighted the diversity of careers and responsibilities within an embassy.

This exchange also provided an opportunity to discuss the importance of dialogue, international cooperation, and mutual understanding in today’s world, while encouraging students to explore careers with an international outlook.

Applications to the France-Malaysia Collaboration Programme for Joint Research (MyTIGER) 2026 are now open.

MyTIGER is a joint funding programme that strenghtens resrarch cooperaiton between France and Malaysia, supporting projects across all disciplines, including social sciences and humanities.

Following the success of the four previous MyTIGER calls, which contributed to the funding of 37 projects, the Embassy of France in Malaysia is proud to renew this initiative in favour of cutting-edge research.
