วันที่ 23 พฤษภาคม 2569 พระครูสิริโพธิวิเทศ เจ้าอาวาสวัดพุทธไทยเชตวัน รัฐสลังงอร์ และนายอนันต์ พิกุลทิพย์สาคร อัครราชทูต ผู้แทนสถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ เข้าร่วมพิธีเปิดการประชุมวันวิสาขบูชาแห่งชาติประจำปี 2569 (National Wisak Conference 2026) จัดโดยกระทรวงเอกภาพแห่งชาติ (Ministry of National Unity) และกระทรวงคมนาคมมาเลเซีย ร่วมกับสภาที่ปรึกษาพุทธศาสนิกชนมาเลเซีย (Malaysian Buddhist Consultative Council: MBCC) ณ อาคาร Menara Ken เขต Taman Tun Dr. Ismail กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ โดยมี YB Tuan Anthony Loke Siew F**k รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงคมนาคม กล่าวคำกล่าวนำ และ YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim นายกรัฐมนตรี กล่าวเปิด มี YB Hannah Yeoh รัฐมนตรีประจำสำนักนายกรัฐมนตรี (ดินแดนสหพันธ์) คณะทูตานุทูตต่างประเทศประจำมาเลเซีย ผู้แทนภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชน องค์การระหว่างประเทศ องค์กรศาสนา สื่อมวลชน และแขกรับเชิญเข้าร่วมประมาณ 1,000 คน

นายกรัฐมนตรีอันวาร์ฯ ย้ำความสำคัญของการเฉลิมฉลองวันวิสาขบูชาเพื่อเป็นเกียรติแก่ชุมชนชาวพุทธ แม้อิสลามจะเป็นศาสนาประจำชาติและชุมชนมาเลย์และภูมิบุตรเป็นประชากรส่วนใหญ่ของมาเลเซีย รัฐบาล MADANI ได้เสริมสร้างคุณค่าของความเมตตา ธรรมเนียมปฏิบัติ และหลักมนุษยธรรม ตลอดจนความสามัคคีระหว่างชุมชน ซึ่งมีความหลากหลายในศาสนาและเชื้อชาติ แนวคิด HARMONI MADANI เน้นการพูดคุย ไม่สนับสนุนการปลุกปั่นให้เกิดความเกลียดชัง ความหวาดกลัว และการแบ่งแยก เพื่อผลประโยชน์ทางการเมือง เรียกร้องให้ชาวมาเลเซียเป็นอันหนึ่งอันเดียวกัน

การจัดประชุมฯ นี้ เป็นครั้งแรกที่นายกรัฐมนตรีของมาเลเซียเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการเฉลิมฉลองเทศกาลวิสาขบูชาของมาเลเซีย รัฐมนตรี Anthony ซึ่งเป็นชาวคริสต์เชื้อสายจีนและสนับสนุนความสามัคคีและการเคารพซึ่งกันและกันระหว่างศาสนาย้ำว่า ความแตกต่างไม่ใช่จุดอ่อน แต่กลับเป็นความเข้มแข็งของมาเลเซียที่มีความหลากหลายของอารยธรรมและความเชื่อ

Royal Thai Embassy participates in the opening ceremony of the National Vesak Conference 2026

On 23 May 2026, Phra Khru Siriphotivithes, Chief Abbot of Thai Buddhist Chetawan Temple in Selangor, and Mr. Anan Pikultipsakorn, Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission of the Royal Thai Embassy, Kuala Lumpur, attended the opening ceremony of the National Vesak Conference 2026, co organized by Ministry of National Unity, Ministry of Transport, and the Malaysian Buddhist Consultative Council (MBCC) at Menara Ken, Taman Tun Dr. Ismail, Kuala Lumpur. YB Tuan Anthony Loke Siew F**k, Minister of Transport, delivered the opening address, while YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia, officiated the opening. YB Hannah Yeoh, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories), foreign missions accredited to Malaysia, government and private sector representatives, international organizations, religious bodies, the media, and guests, totalling approximately 1,000 participants, attended the event.

Prime Minister Anwar emphasized the importance of celebrating Vesak Day as a mark of respect for the Buddhist community. Even though Islam is the religion of the country and the Malay and Bumiputra communities constitute the majority of Malaysia’s population, the MADANI government has been promoting values of benevolence (Metta), etiquette and humanity, as well as unity among communities that are diverse in religion and ethnicity. The HARMONI MADANI concept focuses on dialogue and does not support incitement to hatred, fear, or division for political gain, urging Malaysians to stay united.

This conference marked the first time that a Malaysian Prime Minister has been directly involved in celebrating Malaysia’s Vesak Day festivities. Minister Anthony, a Christian of Chinese descent who supports unity and mutual respect among religions, stressed that differences are not a weakness but rather a source of strength for Malaysia’s rich diversity of civilizations and beliefs.

วันที่ 24 พฤษภาคม 2569 สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ จัดพิธีสวดพระพุทธมนต์ถวายพระราชกุศล เนื่องในโอกาสการประกาศยกย่องพระเกียรติคุณพระราชกรณียกิจในวาระครบรอบ 100 ปี สมเด็จพระนางเจ้ารำไพพรรณี พระบรมราชินี ในรัชกาลที่ 7 ณ วัดพุทธไทยเชตวัน รัฐสลังงอร์ (Thai Buddhist Chetawan Temple) เพื่อน้อมรำลึกในพระมหากรุณาธิคุณและแสดงความจงรักภักดี โดยมีนางสาวลดา ภู่มาศ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ เป็นประธานในพิธีฯ และข้าราชการทีมประเทศไทยพร้อมด้วยคู่สมรสเข้าร่วมโดยพร้อมเพรียงกัน

วันที่ 22 พฤษภาคม 2569 นางสาวลดา ภู่มาศ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ รับเชิญจาก National Resilience College (NRC) มาเลเซีย เป็นผู้บรรยายพิเศษ (Executive Talk) หัวข้อ “Managing Border Tensions with Cambodia: Thailand’s Perspective on the 2025 Incident and Implications for ASEAN Stability” แก่ผู้เข้าร่วมหลักสูตรด้านการทหารของ NRC รุ่นที่ ๗ ประกอบด้วยนายทหารของกองทัพมาเลเซีย Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) ตำรวจมาเลเซีย และผู้เข้าร่วมหลักสูตรจากต่างประเทศ (International Course Member) ได้แก่ นายทหารจากกองทัพอินเดีย ปากีสถาน อินโดนีเซีย สิงคโปร์ และไทย รวมทั้งสิ้น ๒๒ คน ณ อาคาร NRC Precinct 1 เมืองปูตราจายา โดยมีพันเอก อาทิตย์ พิกุลทอง รักษาราชการผู้ช่วยทูตฝ่ายทหารและผู้ช่วยทูตฝ่ายทหารบก นาวาเอก จิรพงษ์ อภิชาตวงษ์ ผู้ช่วยทูตฝ่ายทหารเรือ และนาวาอากาศเอก สรยุธ จันทราชา ผู้ช่วยทูตฝ่ายทหารอากาศ พันตำรวจโท มัสนุ เจ๊ะสะตำ ที่ปรึกษาฝ่ายตำรวจ และนายวรุตม์ เปลี่ยนพานิช เลขานุการโท สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ เข้าร่วมด้วย

เอกอัครราชทูตฯ นำเสนอภาพรวมยุทธศาสตร์นโยบายการต่างประเทศของไทย ความสัมพันธ์ทวิภาคีไทย - มาเลเซีย บทบาทและความร่วมมือของทั้งสองประเทศในกรอบอาเซียน ท่ามกลางบริบทภูมิรัฐศาสตร์และภูมิเศรษฐศาสตร์โลกที่มีความผันผวน พร้อมแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองของไทยต่อประเด็นสถานการณ์ไทย - กัมพูชา ยืนยันความมุ่งมั่นของไทยต่อการหารืออย่างสร้างสรรค์และการแก้ไขปัญหาร่วมกันโดยสันติโดยใช้กลไกทวิภาคีที่มีอยู่ บนพื้นฐานของความเป็นเพื่อนบ้านที่ดีต่อกัน นอกจากนี้ ได้เน้นย้ำแนวทางการทูตเชิงรุกของไทยที่มุ่งเสริมสร้างเสถียรภาพ ความเชื่อมั่น และสภาพแวดล้อมที่เอื้อต่อสันติภาพและความร่วมมืออย่างยั่งยืนในภูมิภาค รวมถึงการรับมือกับความท้าทายข้ามพรมแดน โดยเฉพาะปัญหาการหลอกลวงออนไลน์ในปัจจุบัน

โอกาสนี้ เอกอัครราชทูตฯ พบปะผู้บริหารหลักสูตรและวิทยากรของ NRC พร้อมแลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นกับผู้เข้าร่วมหลักสูตรในบรรยากาศสร้างสรรค์และเป็นกันเอง ยืนยันความมุ่งมั่นของสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ และทีมประเทศไทยในมาเลเซีย ในการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านความมั่นคงระหว่างหน่วยงานของทั้งสองประเทศ เพื่อผลประโยชน์ร่วมกันของประเทศและประชาชนทั้งสองฝ่ายอย่างยั่งยืน

*Ambassador delivers Executive Talk to course participants of Malaysia’s National Resilience College*

On 22 May 2026, H.E. Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia was invited by the National Resilience College (NRC), Malaysia, to deliver an Executive Talk entitled “Managing Border Tensions with Cambodia: Thailand’s Perspective on the 2025 Incident and Implications for ASEAN Stability” to participants of NRC’s military course Cohort 7. The audience comprised officers from the Malaysian Armed Forces, the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA), and the Royal Malaysia Police, as well as International Course Members from India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Singapore, and Thailand, totaling 22 participants, at the NRC Precinct 1 in Putrajaya. Also present were Colonel Artit Pikulthong, Acting Defence and Army Attaché; Captain Jirapong Apichatwong, Naval Attaché; Group Captain Sorrayuth Chantaracha, Air Attaché; Police Lieutenant Colonel Masnu Jehsatam, Police Counsellor; and Mr. Warut Plianphanich, Second Secretary of the Royal Thai Embassy.

The Ambassador provided an overview of Thailand’s foreign policy strategy, Thailand–Malaysia bilateral relations, and the role and cooperation of both countries within ASEAN, against the backdrop of an increasingly volatile global geopolitical and geoeconomic environment. The Ambassador also exchanged views on Thailand’s perspective regarding the Thailand–Cambodia situation, reaffirming Thailand’s commitment to constructive dialogue and the peaceful resolution of issues through existing bilateral mechanisms, grounded in good neighbourly relations. In addition, the Ambassador further underscored Thailand’s proactive diplomatic approach aimed at strengthening stability, confidence, and an enabling environment for peace and sustainable cooperation in the region, including addressing transboundary challenges, particularly the current issue of online scams.

On this occasion, the Ambassador also met with NRC programme executives and lecturers and exchanged views with course participants in a constructive and cordial atmosphere. The Ambassador reaffirmed the commitment of the Royal Thai Embassy and Team Thailand in Malaysia to promoting security cooperation between relevant agencies of both countries, for the sustainable mutual benefit of both nations and their peoples.

*Ambassador invited to attend the “Afternoon Tea with ASEAN Ambassadors in Conjunction with the ASEAN Youth Orchestra Festival Kuala Lumpur (AYOFKL) 2026”*

On 20 May 2026, Her Excellency Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, was invited to attend the “Afternoon Tea with ASEAN Ambassadors in Conjunction with the ASEAN Youth Orchestra Festival Kuala Lumpur (AYOFKL) 2026”, organised by the Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS (DFP) and the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO) at the Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur, whereby Puan Siti Azlina Abd Latif, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of DFP and MPO delivered a welcoming remarks, along with executives from PETRONAS Group, representatives from the public and private sectors, ASEAN Ambassadors and representatives from ASEAN Embassies in Kuala Lumpur, as well as youth musicians, with a total attendance of approximately 50 participants.

Ambassador Lada met with the CEO of DFP and MPO, as well as executives of PETRONAS, extending her appreciation for the inaugural organisation of the ASEAN Youth Orchestra Festival Kuala Lumpur (AYOFKL) in 2026, while noting that the initiative serves as a meaningful platform to strengthen cultural ties, foster closer people-to-people connectivity among ASEAN Member States, and present an important opportunity to promote constructive musical networking and advance regional cultural diplomacy.

The ASEAN Youth Orchestra Festival Kuala Lumpur (AYOFKL) 2026 is scheduled to take place from 21 – 28 June 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, bringing together 84 young musicians from 7 ASEAN Member States, including Thailand. Participants will engage in intensive rehearsals and classical music training before performing in two public orchestral concerts on 25 and 27 June 2026 at the Auditorium Bandaraya Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur and Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS, respectively. *เอกอัครราชทูตฯ เยี่ยมชมผลงานวิจัย สิ่งประดิษฐ์คิดค้น และนวัตกรรมของนักวิจัย/ นักประดิษฐ์ไทยในงาน International Invention, Innovation and Technology Exhibition ครั้งที่ 37 (ITEX2026)*

วันที่ 19 พฤษภาคม 2569 นางสาวลดา ภู่มาศ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ ได้รับเชิญจากสำนักงานการวิจัยแห่งชาติ (วช.) เข้าเยี่ยมชมบูธแสดงผลงานวิจัย สิ่งประดิษฐ์คิดค้น และนวัตกรรมของนักวิจัย/ นักประดิษฐ์ไทยในงาน International Invention, Innovation and Technology Exhibition ครั้งที่ 37 (ITEX 2026) จัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 18 - 19 พฤษภาคม 2569 ณ Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ โดย Malaysian Invention and Design Society (MINDS) และ C.I.S. Network โดยความร่วมมือกับกระทรวงวิทยาศาสตร์ เทคโนโลยี และนวัตกรรมมาเลเซีย และกระทรวงการลงทุน การค้า และอุตสาหกรรมมาเลเซีย (MITI) โดยมี ดร. วิภารัตน์ ดีอ่อง ผู้อำนวยการ วช. และคณะให้การต้อนรับ

เอกอัครราชทูตฯ เยี่ยมชมผลงานวิจัยและนวัตกรรมของไทย ซึ่ง วช. สนับสนุนการเข้าร่วมประกวดและจัดแสดงภายในงานฯ จำนวน 215 ผลงาน จาก 47 หน่วยงาน ทั้งในระดับประถมศึกษา มัธยมศึกษา อาชีวศึกษา และอุดมศึกษา ตลอดจนหน่วยงานภาครัฐ รัฐวิสาหกิจ และภาคเอกชนไทย ซึ่งเดินทางเข้าร่วมงานฯ กว่า 700 คน

โอกาสนี้ เอกอัครราชทูตฯ กล่าวชื่นชมศักยภาพของนักเรียน นักศึกษา นักวิจัย และนักประดิษฐ์ไทย สนับสนุนการใช้โอกาสจากการประกวดฯ และการจัดแสดงผลงานฯ ในการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ด้านวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีกับนานาประเทศ เสริมสร้างมุมมองใหม่ สร้างแรงบันดาลใจ และการต่อยอดผลงานวิจัยไปสู่การใช้ประโยชน์เชิงพาณิชย์ในอนาคต โดยผลงานของไทยได้รับรางวัลเหรีญทอง 127 ผลงาน เหรียญเงิน 83 ผลงาน และเหรียญทองแดง 7 ผลงาน สร้างความภาคภูมิใจให้กับประเทศไทยเป็นอย่างยิ่ง

On 19 May 2026, Her Excellency Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, was invited to visit the exhibition booths showcasing research, inventions, and innovations by Thai researchers and inventors at the 37th International Invention, Innovation and Technology Exhibition (ITEX 2026), at the invitation of the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT). The ITEX2026 was held on 18 - 19 May 2026 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), Kuala Lumpur, and organised by the Malaysian Invention and Design Society (MINDS) and C.I.S. Network in collaboration with the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation of Malaysia and the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry of Malaysia (MITI). On this occasion, the Ambassador was warmly received by Dr. Wiparat De-Ong, Executive Director of NRCT and the Thai delegation.

Ambassador Lada visited the Thailand’s research and innovation exhibits, with 215 entries from 47 Thai institutions, supported by the NRCT for participation in the competition and exhibition, and consisting of over 700 Thai participants from primary and secondary schools, vocational and higher education institutions, as well as government agencies, state enterprises, and private-sector organisations.

On this occasion, the Ambassador commended the outstanding potential and achievements of Thai students, researchers, and inventors, while encouraging them to leverage the opportunities from the competition and exhibition as a platform to exchange scientific and technological knowledge with the global peers, broadening new perspectives, fostering inspiration, and further developing their research projects toward commercialisation. Thailand’s remarkable performance at ITEX 2026 brought great pride to the nation, with Thai participants receiving a total of 127 Gold Medals, 83 Silver Medals, and 7 Bronze Medals.

วันที่ 16 พฤษภาคม 2569 สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ จัดกิจกรรมส่งเสริมทักษะภาษาอังกฤษเชิงวิชาชีพสำหรับการทำงาน ควบคู่กับการใช้เทคโนโลยีปัญญาประดิษฐ์ “Introduction to AI-Enhanced English Communication Skills for the Workplace” และ “AI-Powered English Communication & Workplace Practice Workshop” โดยวิทยากรจากศูนย์นวัตกรรมภาษา (Language Innovation Centre: LIC) อ. เมือง จ. ยะลา ประกอบด้วย (1) ดร. รุ่งโรจน์ ชอบหวาน ผู้อำนวยการศูนย์นวัตกรรมภาษา และอาจารย์ประจำคณะมนุษยศาสตร์และสังคมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตปัตตานี (2) ดร. มุสลิม รอกา อาจารย์ประจำสาขาวิชาภาษาอังกฤษ คณะศิลปศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยนราธิวาสราชนครินทร์ และ (3) นายซอฟวาน ยานยา เน้นสร้างความเข้าใจพื้นฐานการใช้ AI ร่วมกับการพัฒนาทักษะภาษาอังกฤษเชิงวิชาชีพ และฝึกใช้ AI เพื่อพัฒนาทักษะภาษาอังกฤษสำหรับการทำงาน อาทิ การเขียน Prompt ภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อสร้างอีเมล รายงาน และเอกสารทางวิชาชีพ การฝึกสนทนาในสถานการณ์ จำลอง การเตรียมความพร้อมในการสัมภาษณ์งาน และการนำเสนอผลงานในรูปแบบภาษาอังกฤษ เพื่อให้สามารถประยุกต์ใช้ได้จริงในบริบทการทำงานทั้งในระดับชาติและนานาชาติ

วันที่ 17 พฤษภาคม 2568 สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ จัดกิจกรรม “AI Showcase” การแสดงผลงานการใช้ AI ของผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการฯ เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นและรับข้อเสนอแนะ (feedback) จากวิทยากรศูนย์นวัตกรรมภาษา อันนำไปสู่การปรับปรุงผลงานให้มีคุณภาพมากยิ่งขึ้น ช่วงบ่ายวันเดียวกัน สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ จัดกิจกรรมบรรยายพิเศษในหัวข้อ “AI Advantage: ข้อได้เปรียบเมื่อเรารู้จักและเข้าใจปัญญาประดิษฐ์” โดยนายอิรฟาน มะแดเฮาะ นักศึกษาปริญญาโท สาขา Artificial Intelligence (AI) คณะวิทยาศาสตร์คอมพิวเตอร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมาลายา (Universiti Malaya: UM) มีประสบการณ์ทำงานในบริษัท AIS กรุงเทพมหานครฯ เป็นระยะเวลา 3 ปี ในตำแหน่ง Data Scientists and Analytics Consultant เป็นกิจกรรมสร้างแรงบันดาลใจและแนวคิดเชิงบวกต่อการเรียนรู้ AI เพื่อให้ผู้เข้าร่วมเป็นบุคคลที่มีศักยภาพในการใช้ AI อย่างสร้างสรรค์และมีประสิทธิภาพ สามารถนำองค์ความรู้ไปประยุกต์ใช้ในการพัฒนาบ้านเกิด ชุมชน และสังคมของตนได้อย่างยั่งยืน

อนึ่ง โครงการ TRIC จัดขึ้นเป็นปีที่ 5 โดยการสนับสนุนของสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ เพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาไทยในมาเลเซียได้เตรียมความพร้อมก่อนสำเร็จการศึกษา ทั้งด้านวิชาการ ทักษะการทำงาน และการมีปฏิสัมพันธ์กับเพื่อนร่วมงาน ตลอดจนเสริมสร้างทัศนคติที่ดีต่อการทำงาน มีเป้าประสงค์ให้นักศึกษาเติบโตสู่วัยทำงานอย่างมีคุณภาพและเป็นกำลังสำคัญของครอบครัว ชุมชนบ้านเกิด สังคม และประเทศชาติ

On 16 May 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy organised the “Introduction to AI-Enhanced English Communication Skills for the Workplace” session and “AI-Powered English Communication & Workplace Practice” workshop conducted by speakers from the Language Innovation Centre (LIC), Mueang District, Yala Province, namely: (1) Dr. Rungroj Chorbwan, Director of the LIC and lecturer at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Prince of Songkla University, Pattani Campus; (2) Dr. Muslim Roka, lecturer at the English Programme, Faculty of Liberal Arts, Princess of Naradhiwas University; and (3) Mr. Sofwan Yanya.

The activities focused on building a foundational understanding of AI alongside the development of professional English language skills, as well as practical training in applying AI to enhance English for the workplace, including English prompts writing to generate emails, reports, and professional documents, simulated workplace conversations, job interview preparation, and English presentations, enabling participants to apply knowledge effectively the skills in professional contexts at both national and international levels.

On 17 May 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy organised the “AI Showcase” activity, featuring presentations of AI-related works by participating students to exchange ideas and receive feedback from speakers from the LIC, leading to further improvement of their works. That same afternoon, the Royal Thai Embassy also organised a special lecture entitled “AI Advantage: The Benefits of Understanding AI” by Mr. Erafan Madaehoh, a Master’s degree student in Artificial Intelligence (AI) at the Faculty of Computer Science, Universiti Malaya (UM), Malayais, who formerly worked as a Data Scientist and Analytics Consultant at AIS, Bangkok, for three years. The lecture aimed to inspire and foster positive perspectives towards AI learning, encouraging participants to use AI creatively and effectively while applying the knowledge gained towards the sustainable development of their hometowns, communities, and society.

The TRIC Project has been organised for the fifth consecutive year with the support of
the Royal Thai Embassy, providing Thai students in Malaysia with opportunities to prepare themselves prior to graduation in terms of academic knowledge, workplace skills, and interpersonal interaction with colleagues, as well as to cultivate positive attitudes towards work. The project aims to support students in growing into quality professionals and becoming an important driving force for their families, hometown communities, society, and the nation.

วันที่ 16 พฤษภาคม 2569 นางสาวลดา ภู่มาศ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดโครงการฯ ณ ห้องราชพฤกษ์ - บุหงารายา สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ กล่าวให้โอวาทนักศึกษาไทยที่กำลังจะสำเร็จการศึกษา และก้าวเข้าสู่วัยทำงาน ย้ำความมุ่งมั่นของสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ในการดำเนินโครงการฯ ที่ต่อยอดความสำเร็จจากกิจกรรมพัฒนาของหลักสูตรการสร้างสื่อดิจิทัลประชาสัมพันธ์ผลิตภัณฑ์จากชุมชนบ้านเกิดในโครงการฯ ปี 2568 สู่หลักสูตร “การพัฒนาทักษะการสื่อสารภาษาอังกฤษด้วย AI” ซึ่งเป็นอีกหนึ่งเครื่องมือสำคัญในการสื่อสารในยุคดิจิทัล เสริมศักยภาพตนเอง และสร้างโอกาสใหม่ในการทำงาน

โอกาสเดียวกันนี้ เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้ประชาสัมพันธ์และเปิดคลิปวิดีโอเพื่อเสริมสร้างภาพลักษณ์สังคมพหุวัฒนธรรมของไทย ภายใต้หัวข้อ “ประเทศไทยในฐานะจุดหมายปลายทางที่เป็นมิตรต่อชาวมุสลิม (Muslim-Friendly Destination)” ซึ่งเป็นผลงานของนักศึกษาไทยจากมหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตหาดใหญ่ ที่ได้รับรางวัลชนะเลิศ โครงการประกวดจัดทำวิดีโอคลิปเพื่อเสริมสร้างภาพลักษณ์สังคมพหุวัฒนธรรมของไทยของกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ โดยผลงานดังกล่าวสะท้อนศักยภาพของเยาวชนไทยในการใช้สื่อดิจิทัลและการสื่อสารเชิงสร้างสรรค์เพื่อนำเสนอภาพลักษณ์ของประเทศไทยสู่ระดับนานาชาติอย่างร่วมสมัย

ในช่วงท้าย เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ย้ำความสำคัญของการใช้ AI อย่างรู้เท่าทันและสร้างสรรค์ ควบคู่กับการพัฒนาตนเองอย่างต่อเนื่อง ทั้งการบริหารเวลาและการวางแผนอนาคตอย่างรอบคอบ เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมสู่โลกการทำงานยุคใหม่ และสามารถนำองค์ความรู้และประสบการณ์ที่ได้รับไปประยุกต์ใช้ในการพัฒนาชุมชนและบ้านเกิด โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่จังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ ให้เกิดความเข้มแข็งและยั่งยืนต่อไป

อนึ่ง เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้สนับสนุนให้นักศึกษาไทยใช้ประโยชน์อย่างเต็มที่จาก “ศูนย์นักศึกษาไทยในมาเลเซีย” ซึ่งเป็นช่องทางในการให้คำปรึกษาและสนับสนุนด้านการศึกษาและการดำเนินชีวิตในต่างประเทศอย่างใกล้ชิด ตลอดจนมีบทความและสาระความรู้ให้นักศึกษาได้ศึกษาและติดตามอย่างต่อเนื่อง

ภายหลังพิธีเปิดโครงการฯ นักศึกษาไทยได้เยี่ยมชมบริเวณโดยรอบสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ศึกษาประวัติศาสตร์และภารกิจของสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ในการคุ้มครองดูแลผลประโยชน์ของประเทศ ซึ่งรวมถึงสวัสดิภาพของนักศึกษาไทยในมาเลเซีย บรรยากาศการจัดกิจกรรมเป็นไปอย่างอบอุ่น สนุกสนาน และเป็นกันเอง สร้างความประทับใจแก่ผู้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมเป็นอย่างยิ่ง

On 16 - 17 May 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, in collaboration with the Thai Students Association in Malaysia (TSAM), organised the “Training and Routing for International Career 2026 (TRIC 2026)” at the Embassy and Oakwood Hotel and Residence, Kuala Lumpur. The event was well attended by over 100 Thai students across Malaysia.

On 16 May 2026, H.E. Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, presided over the Opening Ceremony of the TRIC 2026 at the Embassy’s Rajapruek - Bunga Raya Hall. In her opening address, the Ambassador encouraged Thai students who are about to graduate and enter the workforce, while reaffirming the Embassy’s commitment to the TRIC Project, which has built upon the success of the 2025 edition featuring a course on digital media production for promoting products from local communities, into this year’s edition focusing on “Enhancing English Communication Skills through Artificial Intelligence (AI)” recognised as another important tool for communication in the digital era to strengthen self-development and create new career opportunities.

On this occasion, the Ambassador also introduced and screened a video clip promoting Thailand’s multicultural society under the theme “Thailand as a Muslim-Friendly Destination,” produced by Thai students from Prince of Songkla University, Hat Yai Campus, which received the first prize in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ video clip competition on promoting Thailand’s multicultural society. The video reflected the potential of Thai youth in utilising digital media and creative communication to present Thailand’s image to the international community in a contemporary manner.

In closing, the Ambassador underscored the importance of using AI wisely and responsibly, alongside continuous self-development, including effective time management and well-considered future planning, in preparation for the modern workforce, while encouraging the students to apply the knowledge and experience gained to contribute to sustainable development of their communities and hometowns, particularly in Thailand’s Southern Border Provinces.

The Ambassador also encouraged Thai students to fully utilise the “Thai Students Centre in Malaysia,” which serves as a platform for providing close consultation and support on educational and living matters abroad, as well as offering articles and informative content for students to continuously study and pursue.

Following the Opening Ceremony, Thai students were given a site visit to the Embassy’s premise and learned about its history and mission in safeguarding the interest of Thai people, including the welfare of Thai students in Malaysia. The event was held in a warm and cordial atmosphere, which has greatly impressed the participants.

นาย Gerhard Eisl เอกอัครราชทูตออสเตรียประจำมาเลเซีย เข้าร่วมหารือระหว่างอาหารค่ำกับ รศ. ดร. Alfred Gerstl ประธาน Central European Institute of Asian Studies (CEIAS) มีคณะทูตต่างชาติประจำมาเลเซีย และนักวิชาการมาเลเซียเข้าร่วมด้วย ที่ร้าน Malai Thai กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์

โอกาสนี้ เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้แลกเปลี่ยนทัศนะเกี่ยวกับสถานการณ์ทางภูมิรัฐศาสตร์โลก ความสัมพันธ์ไทย-สหภาพยุโรป มุมมองของไทยต่อแนวทางความร่วมมืออาเซียน-สหภาพยุโรป โดยเฉพาะ 3Rs ได้แก่ “Regionalism, Resilience and Relevance” โดยไทยและอาเซียนพร้อมร่วมมือกับสหภาพยุโรปในการแก้ไขปัญหาความท้าทายใหม่ที่มีผลกระทบโดยตรงต่อประชาชนและเศรษฐกิจ โดยเฉพาะอาชญากรรมหลอกลวงทางอินเทอร์เน็ต

อนึ่ง วันที่ 14 พฤษภาคม 2569 รศ. ดร. Alfred Gerstl ได้บรรยายในหัวข้อ “Navigating Great Power Politics: De-risking and Hedging as Pragmatic Strategies for the European Union and ASEAN” ที่ Asia-Europe Institute (AEI) มหาวิทยาลัย Universiti Malaya (UM) ย้ำความสำคัญของการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือระหว่างสหภาพยุโรปกับอาเซียนในฐานะ “หุ้นส่วนตามธรรมชาติ” (natural partners) และมองว่า ความสัมพันธ์ที่ใกล้ชิดโดยเฉพาะในมิติเศรษฐกิจและการเมืองจะเป็นปัจจัยที่มีส่วนช่วยรักษาความเป็นอิสระทางยุทธศาสตร์ (strategic autonomy) ของสหภาพยุโรปและอาเซียน ในบริบทการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางภูมิรัฐศาสตร์และระเบียบโลก

CEIAS เป็นสถาบัน think tank อิสระ ก่อตั้งขึ้นเมื่อ ค.ศ. 2007 ที่ประเทศสโลวาเกีย ปัจจุบัน เป็น transnational think tank มีสาขาหลักที่กรุงบราติสลาวา ประเทศสโลวาเกีย กรุงปราก ประเทศเช็กเกีย และกรุงเวียนนา ประเทศออสเตรีย มุ่งเน้นความสัมพันธ์ยุโรป-เอเชีย และพัฒนาการในภูมิภาคอินโด-แปซิฟิก

On 18 May 2026, H.E. Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, was invited by H.E. Mr. Gerhard Eisl, Ambassador of Austria to Malaysia, to attend a dinner discussion with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alfred Gerstl, President of the Central European Institute of Asian Studies (CEIAS), along with members of the diplomatic corps in Malaysia and Malaysian academics at Malai Thai Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur.

On this occasion, Ambassador Lada exchanged views on the global geopolitical situation, Thailand–European Union (EU) relations, and Thailand’s perspectives on ASEAN–EU cooperation, particularly the 3Rs: “Regionalism, Resilience and Relevance.” Thailand and ASEAN stand ready to cooperate with the EU in addressing emerging challenges that have direct impacts on people and economies, especially cyber-enabled crimes and online scams.

Earlier, on 14 May 2026, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alfred Gerstl delivered a lecture entitled “Navigating Great Power Politics: De-risking and Hedging as Pragmatic Strategies for the EU and ASEAN” at the Asia-Europe Institute (AEI), Universiti Malaya (UM). In his lecture, he underscored the importance of enhancing cooperation between the EU and ASEAN as “natural partners.” He also viewed that closer relations, particularly in the economic and political dimensions, would contribute to maintaining the strategic autonomy of both the EU and ASEAN amid evolving geopolitical dynamics and changes in the global order.

CEIAS is an independent think tank established in 2007 in Slovakia. It is currently a transnational think tank with main branches in Bratislava, Slovakia; Prague, Czechia; and Vienna, Austria. CEIAS focuses on Europe–Asia relations and developments in the Indo-Pacific region.
