[01 JUNE 2026] FLAG RAISING CEREMONY | BFP Region 11, under the leadership of FCSUPT JUNITO F MASLANG, DSC, Regional Director, conducted its regular Flag Raising Ceremony this morning, with FSINSP JANINE M MAMOLANG, Chief of the Public Information Service (P*S), serving as the Troop Information and Education (TI&E) speaker.
During her message, FSINSP MAMOLANG emphasized the importance of resilience, professionalism, and responsible social media use, citing the recent public scrutiny faced by fellow firefighters during rescue operations. She reminded personnel that criticism is an inherent part of public service and encouraged everyone to remain focused on continuous improvement, uphold the integrity of the Bureau, and stay committed to their sworn duty to serve God, country, and the Filipino people.

Bureau of Fire Protection 11, under the leadership of FCSUPT JUNITO F MASLANG, DSC, Regional Director, proudly recognizes the participation of FSINSP RICHARD D QUIBOQUIBO, Acting City Fire Marshal of Panabo City Fire Station, in the 33rd International Fire Chiefs’ Association of Asia (IFCAA) 2026 Nagoya – 34th General Conference held from May 25 to 30, 2026, in Nagoya, Japan.
FSINSP QUIBOQUIBO joined FCSUPT WILBERTO RICO NEIL A KWAN TIU, BFP Officer-in-Charge, along with other BFP personnel from various regions nationwide, in representing the Bureau of Fire Protection in this significant international gathering of fire service leaders and professionals across Asia.
The conference provided a platform for sharing best practices and innovations in fire safety, emergency response, disaster management, and public safety while strengthening international cooperation among fire service professionals. [16-22 MAY 2026] BFP 11 SHOWCASES INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPATION IN CHINA FIRE AND DISASTER RESCUE TRAINING COURSE
BFP 11, under the leadership of FCSUPT JUNITO F MASLANG, DSC, Regional Director, proudly highlighted the participation of FSSUPT ALEX M PAMAYBAY, DSC, Assistant Regional Director for Operations of BFP Region 11, in the “Philippines Firefighting and Disaster Rescue Skills Training Course” held in Sanming City, Fujian Province, China from May 16 to 22, 2026.
The seven-day training program, hosted by the Foreign Affairs Office of the Fujian Provincial People’s Government, focused on enhancing emergency response and disaster rescue capabilities through specialized lectures and practical exercises on earthquake rescue, water rescue, rope rescue, breaching and breaking operations, tactical ventilation, and search and rescue techniques.
The activity further strengthened cooperation and exchange between the Philippines and China in the field of fire emergency response, disaster management, and public safety, while providing participating BFP personnel with valuable international learning experiences to improve operational readiness and rescue capabilities.

[28 MAY 2026] BFP 11 JOINS IN THE 303RD RLECC MONTHLY MEETING | BFP 11, under the leadership of FCSUPT JUNITO F MASLANG, DSC, Regional Director, duly represented by FSSUPT CONRADO M BALMORES JR, Regional Chief of Staff, participated in the 303rd RLECC 11 Regular Monthly Meeting held this morning, May 28, 2026, at PRO 11 Bagani Hall, Camp Sgt. Quintin M. Merecido, Buhangin, Davao City. The activity was presided over by PBGEN LEON VICTOR Z ROSETE, Regional Director of PRO 11 and RLECC 11 Chairman, and was attended by various law enforcement, public safety, and government agencies across Region 11.
An open forum and Chairman’s Time were also conducted to further strengthen coordination, collaboration, and information sharing among member-agencies. The activity highlighted the continuous commitment of RLECC 11 member-agencies, including BFP 11, in promoting inter-agency cooperation and unified efforts toward public safety and security in the region.

22 May 2026, MATI CITY, DAVAO ORIENTAL | The Bureau of Fire Protection 11 officially activated the Dawan Fire Sub-station today, aimed at ensuring faster emergency response in the barangay. Present during the event are the key officers of the bureau, led by BFP 11 Regional Director, FCSUPT JUNITO F MASLANG, DSC, together with FSUPT JOYCELYN HERNAEZ-GRANT, Provincial Fire Director and FSINSP ELIZABETH D CAPIÑA, City Fire Marshal, amd FCINSP PAUL JORGE C BARROZO, BFP 11 Chief Logistics, it was also supported by local officials like City Councilor Hon. Tara Rabat-Gayta and Barangay Captain Hon. Ivan L. Guias.
