Good morning, everyone!

Welcome to the rollout and training on the 2025 Philippine Valuation Standards 3rd Edition.

I'm glad to see LGU assessors here, ready to enhance your skills in property valuation and assessment.

The Philippine Valuation Standards align with International Valuation Standards, ensuring our practices are globally recognized.

This 3rd Edition reflects updates and best practices, helping us achieve accurate and consistent valuations.

Today, we will cover key aspects of the standards, including valuation approaches and methodologies.

We will dive deep into practical examples and case studies to help you apply these standards in your daily work.

Our goal is to equip you with the knowledge to support fair and efficient property taxation.

Property valuation is critical for local government units and the national government, impacting revenue generation and resource allocation.

By mastering these standards, you will contribute to transparent and reliable property assessments, benefiting our communities and the entire nation.

This training is a key step in the Department of Finance-Bureau of Local Government Financeโ€™s initiative to strengthen LGU capacity in property valuation and assessment. With these skills, you will help drive local economic growth and development to wards national growth and development, too.

Let us work together to raise the bar in property valuation and assessment.
