Yesterday, President Tharman Shanmugaratnam appointed 113 personnel as Full-Time/Honorary Aides-de-Camp (ADCs) during the annual ADC Appointment Ceremony held at MINDEF.
Representing the President’s Office, HADCs support the Full-Time ADCs in official events attended by the President. They help with the planning, coordination, and ex*****on of these events, both in Singapore and overseas.

Recently, some of our Cyber Specialists graduated from Temasek Polytechnic with a Diploma in Cybersecurity & Digital Forensics, marking a key milestone in their DIS Polytechnic Work-Learn Scheme journey.
Under the scheme, Cyber Specialists hone their skills through training and real-world cyber operations, while earning academic credits, gaining a head start in NS, and building industry-relevant experience.
Commander Defence Cyber Command, COL Clarence Cai attended the graduation ceremony as Guest of Honour, where he spoke about the importance of advanced persistent defence in today’s cyber landscape. He also highlighted how graduates across cybersecurity, data and analytics, and digital systems each play a part in securing our digital future.
Congratulations to all graduates! We wish you the best in your continued commitment to strengthening Singapore’s cyber defence capabilities. 🎓🎉

Meet Teck Heng from the Energy Market Authority, one of the Critical Information Infrastructure agency partners who joined our joint Blue Team for the first time at Exercise Locked Shields 2026 – one of the world's most advanced live-fire cyber defence drills.
He brought energy sector expertise to the exercise and worked alongside our Guardians and counterparts from Latvia to defend critical systems under pressure.

Jointly organised by the DIS, Hwa Chong Institution, and the Centre for Strategic Infocomm Technologies, the 8th edition of Cyberthon brought together Junior College, Millennia Institute and International Baccalaureate students to build skills in programming, cybersecurity and AI.
Students took part in hands-on learning and put their knowledge to the test in a Capture-The-Flag competition.
Well done to all participants for your effort, focus and teamwork! 💪
