Hillgrove’s 25th Anniversary Homecoming filled the new Indoor Sports Hall with laughter and joy. Batches of students and staff reunited, reminiscing over old school magazines, enjoying carnival stalls, and touring familiar halls. Everyone left with a limited edition 25th Anniversary bear — a keepsake from one unforgettable reunion.

25th Annual Speech Day - Reflect, Celebrate, Aspire!

This year, we mark a proud milestone of our school - our 25th Anniversary.

For a quarter of a century, the school has nurtured reflective learners, adaptive thinkers and caring change-makers. We sharpened curious minds, developed kind hearts, and built resilient spirits. We celebrate our students' achievements, our teachers' dedication, and our parents' and partners' unwavering support.

From humble beginnings to distinctive achievements, our journey as a school reflects courage, collaboration, and a commitment to lifelong learning. This year, we launched our very own Makerspace to provide teachers and students the space for continual innovation and invention.

To our alumni who lead with integrity, thank you for inspiring us. To our current students, you are the next chapter. May the values that built our past guide our future.

SPARKLE! 2026 ✨ — was a night where 25 years of artistry came alive!

Held on 10 April, this special 25th Anniversary edition of SPARKLE! brought together the heart and soul of Hillgrove’s Visual & Performing Arts in a powerful celebration of Reflect, Celebrate, Aspire.

From the evocative opening sandmation “Flight of a Hillgrovian” by Art Club, to the soaring sounds of Concert Band’s “To Challenge the Sky and Heavens Above”, every performance told a story — of growth, resilience, and dreams taking flight.

💫 Choir moved hearts with “Shinjiru” and “Man in the Mirror”, reminding us to believe, reflect, and create change.
💫 Malay Dance presented a heartfelt farewell — a “laskar pelangi” of graduating dancers moving as one, celebrating growth, unity, and the courage to step into new horizons.
💫 Modern Dance brought energy and joy to the stage, capturing youthful confidence and the thrill of dreams being realised through collaboration and creativity.
💫 Drama brought aspiration to life, proving that no dream is too small or too late.
💫 Media Club captured it all — from behind-the-scenes magic to a heartfelt short film of reflection, celebration, and hope.

The evening culminated in a powerful UNITED Finale (25th Anniversary Edition) — a tribute to our shared journey, first written during the pandemic and now renewed with lyrics of growth and resilience. ❤️

🎁 Concertgoers joined the celebration with popcorn, light sticks, and exclusive 25th Anniversary keepsakes — but more than that, they experienced the spirit of a community united through the arts.

For 25 years, Hillgrove has nurtured passion, creativity, and purpose. And as we look ahead — we don’t just remember where we’ve been - we rise together toward where we can be!

Just 3 more days to the first of our mega 25th Anniversary events — Speech Day! 🥳 Happening on the 10th of April, from 2.30pm to 4.00pm, Speech Day is a special event where the school recognises, affirms, and celebrates the remarkable achievements and progress made by our Hillgrovian students.

Empowering future leaders! 🌟 On 17 March 2026, our student leaders took part in the annual Leadership Training Day, focusing on being Reflective, Adaptive, and Caring. Through interactive skits, case scenarios, and group activities, they honed skills in their respective domains - Class Chairpersons, Student Council, NE, Digital, Community and Environment. Building leaders who inspire and uplift!

The 3rd of our mega 25th Anniversary events is happening on 10 April, 7.00pm – 8.15pm! ✨

SPARKLE! is Hillgrove Secondary School’s biennial aesthetics showcase, celebrating excellence across the Visual and Performing Arts. The event brings together seven CCAs—Malay Dance, Art Club, Modern Dance, Concert Band, Drama Club, Media Club and Choir—for an evening of artistic expression and creativity. Held in conjunction with the School’s 25th Anniversary, this year’s SPARKLE! (2026) reflects Hillgrove’s journey in nurturing talent and passion through the arts. Guided by the theme “Reflect, Celebrate, Aspire,” the showcase affirms the school’s continued commitment to inspiring students to pursue artistic excellence and growth.

▶️ Please dress respectfully and appropriately. (no spaghetti straps and revealing attire). You will not be admitted if your outfit does not adhere to the expected dresscode.

▶️ If your parents are dropping you off, please remind them that parking is not allowed within the school premises.

The 2nd of our mega 25th Anniversary events - Hillgrove Homecoming, is happening on the 10th of April from 5.30pm - 7.30pm! 🎉

We warmly invite all alumni to join us for this special celebration. Come home to reconnect with old friends, enjoy a time of catch-up over light refreshments, and reminisce as we celebrate 25 years of memories, milestones, and the Hillgrove spirit.
