Our Founder's Day celebrations at SAPS began two weeks earlier with a series of classroom lessons on the Lasallian values of Faith, Service and Community, and how St John Baptist de La Salle lived these values so courageously in his life.
The celebrations culminated on 15 May with a meaningful Mass celebrated by Fra. Esmond. Through his powerful and engaging homily on “Greatness”, he reminded us that true greatness lies in having a heart of service like our Founder — using what we have, what we know and who we are to love others better and build one another up. He also reminded us that each of us is wonderfully made in the image of God, gifted with the ability to make a difference in the lives of others.
Following Mass, students participated in classroom activities centred on Faith, Service and Community, continuing to reflect on what it means to live as Lasallians in our daily lives.
The day ended on a high note with an interactive skit put together by our Student Ministry Leaders, with the school community joyfully responding by singing parts of the Glorious Patron. The energy, participation and spirit from the audience were truly heartwarming. As the hall resounded with the singing of “We Are Lasallian”, it became a deeply moving and unforgettable climax to the celebration — one that touched many hearts, and even brought some to tears.

Our Chinese Dance girls proudly took to the stage at the Singapore Youth Festival Arts Presentation 2026 on 16 April 2026 at the Ho Bee Auditorium.
Arriving bright and early at 6.15am, they came full of energy and excitement as they prepared for their performance. Behind the scenes were many hours of practice, where they demonstrated true openness in receiving feedback, courage in taking on challenging stunts, and enthusiasm in working together as a team no matter how tough the sessions were. Even when the going got tough, they persevered and continued to give their best.
We are also deeply grateful to our parents, who have been wonderful pillars of support. Their unwavering encouragement kept both the girls and teachers going, and many came early to help with pre-performance preparations. With their strong support, the girls were ready and confident ahead of their performance.
All their effort and heart shone through as they delivered a beautiful and confident performance on stage. We are so proud of every one of you—well done, girls! 💃✨

🌿 Picnic with Dad at Jurong Lake Gardens - 7 Feb 2026! 🌿
What a heartwarming sight to see our school daddies and their sons/daughters making the most of the weekend together! 📸✨
We love seeing our Anthonians and their dads enjoying quality time at the beautiful Jurong Lake Gardens. There's nothing quite like a father-child picnic to strengthen bonds, create lasting memories, and enjoy Singapore's wonderful green spaces! 🧺🌳
These precious moments of connection outside the classroom are just as important as academic learning. When daddies and their child(ren) spend time together in nature, children develop stronger relationships, better communication skills, and a deeper appreciation for the outdoors. 💚
Thank you to the wonderful Fathers@SAPS committee for organizing this event ! 😊
