🦟 Project Wolbachia Singapore has expanded to Bukit Panjang, Little India and Pioneer, with more areas joining later this year.

While Wolbachia helps reduce mosquito populations, everyone can do their part by spending 10 minutes each week to and remove mosquito breeding habitats around the home.

will be expanding to 3 new areas from today onwards: Bukit Panjang, Little India and Pioneer.🦟 Additional expansions are planned for Toa Payoh and Ang Mo Kio later in the year.

With these expansions, Project Wolbachia will eventually cover more than 800,000 households across Singapore. 🏠

While releases of male Wolbachia-Aedes mosquitoes can help to reduce the Aedes aegypti mosquito population in the community over time, it remains critical to actively at least once a week:
✅ 𝗕reak up hardened soil
✅ 𝗟ift and empty flowerpot plates
✅ 𝗢verturn pails and wipe their rims
✅ 𝗖hange water in vases
✅ 𝗞eep roof gutters clear and place BTI insecticide inside
