PRESS RELEASE ON MASS ENROLMENT AND RENEWAL EXERCISE
We have been part of this National event in which pupils all over the country meet to show case their MDD talents. forms part of three items this year. The set piece, poetry and drama.
Unlike last year, in 2023 we have supported our colleagues by setting up registration centers for all NIRA services as a commitment to making Ugandans enjoy their birth rights

Over 300 primary schools from diverse corners of the nation have passionately engaged in the spirit of competition, expressing themselves through the captivating mediums of music, dance, and drama. Under the theme school choirs have ingeniously explored the benefits, requirements, and procedures of National Identification Number (NIN) registration. Through the enchantment of songs, poems, drama, creative dances, and traditional folk tunes, these young performers have conveyed and continue to relay messages about the significance of NIN registration in a compelling manner.
Starting August 28th to September 3rd, 2023, we shall be present at Duhaga Secondary School in Hoima City for the final National School MDD competitions 2023. Our presence means onsite registrations and issuance of National IDs, NINs, birth certificates among others to applicants.

We have carefully chosen an insightful team to appear on NBS this Monday evening to discuss a wide range of issues about birth and death registrations in Uganda. Is it the reason, or where you should go for registration is what you would like to know? Or how you can register a birth or acquire a birth certificate or probably why it’s important to register a death after the loss of a loved one? This and more will form the center of the discussion today at 10:00pm. Do plan to watch and get a deeper understanding of civil registration as part of the services we offer.

We commenced registration of school going children through an exercise dubbed to issue them NINs. NINs will be required by the Ministry of Education and Sports Uganda and Uganda National Examination Board for continuous assessment of students. Manager Registration and Operations Field Support, Mr Edwin Tukamuhebwa held a comprehensive interview with the Vanguard News Uganda. Read to get an insight into the exercise that's being conducted throughout the country with extra registration centers in Soroti, Mbale, Jinja Masaka, Mbarara, Kasese, Fortportal, Arua, Gulu, and Lira boma grounds. The extra centers support activities that are already being done at the district offices.
Kololo ceremonial grounds is as well operational through out the weekend to offer more reach for people within Kampala.
