The Lehigh Conference of Churches

Sometimes individuals are simply unable to make it to our Drop In Center or Soup Kitchen for food, essential supplies, and support. This can be due to many reasons, including disabilities, lack of transportation, financial barriers, or other challenges.

That's why our Street Outreach Team meets people where they are.

Because of this important work, we go through non perishable food items very quickly. At the moment, we are in need of:

• Beef jerky
• Tuna packets
• Chicken packets
• Pop-top soup cans
• Mini bottles of water
• Granola Bars
• Pudding

You can help by:
- Spreading the word
- Hosting a donation drive at your workplace, church, school, or organization
- Making a donation

Every donation helps us reach our community's most vulnerable neighbors.

In observance of Juneteenth, The Conference will be closed on Friday, June 19, and Saturday, June 20. ❤

The Conference is currently running low on travel size deodorant and toothpaste for our Drop In Center and Street Outreach Team.

These may seem like small items, but they make a big difference for the people we serve. During the summer months, many individuals are spending long hours outdoors, walking to appointments, work, or simply trying to get through the day. Having access to basic hygiene items can help someone feel refreshed, confident, and cared for.

Thank you to their team for volunteering their time and preparing homemade pizzas and homemade cheesecake for our Soup Kitchen. The meal was a huge hit and our members absolutely loved it!

Interested in making a difference in our community? Individuals, families, businesses, churches, and community groups are welcome to volunteer by providing a meal for our Soup Kitchen and/or volunteering their time.

Now collecting for our 4th Annual Back to School Supply Drive | Now until the end of July!

The Conference is collecting school supplies to help local students start the 2026–2027 school year prepared and ready to succeed!

For many families in our community, purchasing school supplies can be a financial challenge. Your support helps ease that burden and make sure children have the tools they need for a successful start to the school year.

There are several ways to get involved:
- Donate school supplies
- Host a collection drive at your workplace, church, school, or community organization

The Conference is currently seeking donations of adult clothing for both men and women. Your generosity helps provide individuals in our community with access to clean, appropriate clothing when they need it most.💙

We are currently in need of:
• T-Shirts
• Sweatpants
• Shorts
• Sneakers

Donation Guidelines:
- New or gently used
- Freshly washed
- Free of stains, rips, tears, and odors
- In good, wearable condition
Items not meeting these requirements will not be accepted

Donation drop-offs must be scheduled in advance.

Soapbox race returning to Nazareth. More than 2 dozen teams competing in charity event. The Lehigh Conference of Churches will receive all race proceeds to fund its homeless prevention mission.

We will be opening our office tomorrow at 10:30am. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
